Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for an ink recording body which has a high dispersion stability and can obtain a sharp image free from blot under high temperature and high humidity when the resin composition is used as an ink receiving layer, and the recording body and its production method using the same. SOLUTION: The resin composition for an ink recording body is composed of (A) a cationic resin-modified inorganic micro-particle dispersion liquid, (B) a hydrophilic binder resin and (C) (i) a blot resistance agent comprising a cationic acrylic copolymer containing a crosslinking functional group or (ii) a blot resistance agent and a crosslinking agent. As the cationic resin-modified inorganic micro-particle dispersion liquid (A), for example, a dispersion liquid obtained by mixing and dispersing (A-1) inorganic particles with (A-2) a cationic resin in a polar solvent is employed. As the inorganic particles (A-1), for example, dry silica, wet silica, sol-gel process silica, colloidal silica and alumina sol and the like can be used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
