[Image] R : R'O or 1-12 C alkyl; R' : 12-24 C monovalent alkyl or alkenyl, aryl, aralkyl or R''' 3Si; R''' : 1-30 C alkyl or alkenyl, aralkyl or aryl; R'' : (un)saturated aliphatic, aromatic or mixed aliphatic/aromatic divalent 1-30 C hydrocarbon group; and X : SH or SCN with n = 1 and m = 1, or S with n = 2 and m = 1-14. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) preparation of (I); (2) rubber mixes containing rubber, filler, optionally other ancillaries and also compound(s) (I).
