Abstract: The system (30) has a loading unit (14) with a turbine (18) which is arranged in an exhaust gas passage (17) for an internal-combustion engine (11). An ammonia injecting valve (31) injects an ammonia gas into an exhaust gas which flows into the passage. A reduction catalyst (36) reduces nitrogen oxide contained in the exhaust gas by the ammonia gas, where the reduction catalyst is injected through the ammonia injecting valve. The ammonia injecting valve injects the ammonia gas along an external circumference of the exhaust gas stream, after the exhaust gas stream passes through the turbine.
