    Abstract: 591702 Disclosed is a test tape unit (10). The test tape unit (10) includes a flexible carrier tape (14) that can be wound forwards by a tape drive (16). A plurality of analytical test fields (32) for the application of body fluid are applied on the tape (14). Each test field (32) is located on an associated tape section along with a check field (50) that is separate from the test field (32). Each tape section has a plurality of position markers (48, 58) for different functional positions that are structured to each be individually identifiable as a measured quantity by means of a tape sensor (20). At least one position marker is a check position marker (48) assigned to the check field (50). The check position marker (48) is separate from the check field (50) and identifies a functional position at which the check field (50) can be scanned for a functional check by a measuring unit (18). The measuring unit (18) is also operable to measure the test field (32) when the tape section is in a different functional position.

    Abstract: Unidad de cinta de ensayo, con una cinta soporte flexible (34), que se puede desenrollar mediante un accionamiento (16), sobre la cual hay aplicadas múltiples zonas de ensayos analíticos (32) para depositar líquidos corporales, sobre todo para la prueba de glucosa, donde cada zona de ensayo (32) se encuentra en un segmento de cinta (42) correspondiente que presenta varias marcas de posición (44) para distintas posiciones funcionales que se pueden leer con un sensor de cinta (20) y por lo tanto identificar individualmente por una magnitud, caracterizada porque sobre cada segmento de cinta (42) hay al menos una marca de control de posición (54) para situar una zona de control (52) correspondiente, de manera que la zona de control (52) se puede leer para una comprobación del funcionamiento mediante una unidad de medición (18) prevista para medir la zona de ensayo (32).
