Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external covering system which is the external covering system for medical consumables, especially for a testing element, and which carries out moisture removal within a stored object effectively. SOLUTION: This external covering system includes an external cover used to hold the first desiccant 18 and a magazine 22 having the supplying section of an unused testing element. When the external cover 10 is in a blocked condition 24, the first desiccant 18 of the external cover 10 acts on the internal of the magazine 22 through communication which makes the diffusion of water vapor possible. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design an analytical system with a pluggable data transfer module enabling the convenient, economical and reliable evaluation of analytical data. SOLUTION: This invention concerns a pluggable data transfer module and a method that can be used to transfer data from an analytical system to a data processing unit in a galvanically decoupled manner. The data transfer module is provided with a conversion unit for converting an electric signal to an electromagnetic signal or acoustic signal in combination with the calibration module interface of analytic equipment, or converting the electromagnetic signal and acoustic signal to electric signals or a communication unit enabling the data transfer of the electromagnetic signal or acoustic signal. This invention is particularly suitable for medical fields of application in which recently it has become more and more desirable to process analytical data of a patient. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
Abstract:
The invention relates to a modular analysis systems. The invention enables the topology of a modular analysis system to be determined without the need to use additional expensive measures, such as a system reset. The method/system is also adapted to industry standards such that CAN-buses can be used.

Abstract:
The invention concerns a test tape unit with a flexible carrier tape (34) that can be wound forwards by a tape drive (16) on which a plurality of analytical test fields (32) for the application of body fluid are each applied in an associated tape section (42). According to the invention it is proposed that each tape section (42) has a plurality of position markers (44) for different functional positions that can be scanned by means of a tape sensor (20) and can thereby be individually identified by a measured quantity.
Abstract:
The system has an additional package (10) for accommodating a desiccant store (18), and a magazine (22) with an un-consumed test unit store (30). The desiccant store of the package acts on an interior of the magazine over a connection enabling water vapor diffusion in a closed condition of the package. The magazine has a sealant (42) for accepting a deactivated condition that enables the water vapor diffusion in the package in the closed condition of the package. An independent claim is also included for a method for extending stability of a medical consumable material such as test unit.

Abstract:
The invention relates to an outer packaging system for medical consumables, in particular test elements (58). The outer packaging system comprises an outer packaging (10), which accommodates a first desiccant supply (18), and a magazine (22) with an unused test element supply (30). In the closed state (24) of the outer packaging (10), the first desiccant supply (18) of the outer packaging (10) acts on the interior of the magazine (22) via a connection (96) that permits water vapour diffusion.
