    Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to realize an analysis apparatus having a plurality of liquid chromatographs capable of judging separation performance and the like at the right timing and improving analysis performance early. Analysis starts and a mixed sample is prepared by adding a non-retaining ingredient to a measurement object sample and is introduced into an analysis flow path (S401 to S404). The mixed sample is separated into components by a separation column, the components are outputted as chromatogram data by a detector, and the analysis finishes (S404 to S406). Retention time and peak information are acquired from the chromatogram outputted from the detector, whether or not a measurement result is within an allowable range is judged, and the process shifts to next analysis when the measurement result is within the allowable range (S407 to S409). An amount of transit time t0 of a non-retaining ingredient shifted from an allowable value is confirmed when separation performance is outside an allowable range at step S408 and a separation column replacement instruction is outputted to an output unit when fluctuation of the transit time t0 is within an allowable range (S410, S411). A device maintenance instruction is outputted to the output unit when the fluctuation is outside the allowable range at step S410 (S412).

    Abstract: To provide a liquid chromatograph and a liquid delivery method capable of more easily and reliably removing bubbles mixed during mobile phase installation or replacement operation. The liquid chromatograph includes: supply pipes configured to connect a liquid delivery device and a liquid storage container; a circulation pipe configured to connect an intermediate portion of the supply pipe and the liquid storage container; a flow passage switching valve provided on a connection portion between the supply pipe and the circulation pipe and configured to selectively switch between a liquid delivery state in which the supply pipe on the liquid storage container side and the supply pipe on the liquid delivery device side communicate with each other and a circulation state in which the supply pipe and the circulation pipe on the liquid storage container side communicate with each other; a bubble detection device provided on the supply pipe between the liquid storage container and the flow passage switching valve; and a circulation liquid delivery device provided on the circulation pipe. A control device is configured to switch the flow passage switching valve to the circulation state to perform a circulation liquid delivery by the circulation liquid delivery device, and switch the flow passage switching valve to the liquid delivery state when the bubbles are not detected by the bubble detection device.

    Abstract: Provided is a technology for reducing the capacity of a liquid feeding pump and enabling liquid feeding with little pulsation. A liquid feeding pump according to the present disclosure is provided with: a first plunger pump having a first plunger; a second plunger pump having a second plunger and connected in series with the first plunger pump; a pressure sensor disposed downstream of the second plunger pump; and a control unit that accepts the input of a liquid discharge pressure measured by the pressure sensor and that controls the driving of the first plunger and the driving of the second plunger. The control unit calculates the rate of change in the pressure of the liquid on the basis of the past compression distances of the plunger for when the liquid was compressed by the first plunger pump and the pressure at the completion of compression, predicts the compression distance of the first plunger on the basis of the rate of change in pressure and the present discharge pressure, and determines the timing at which the compression performed by the first plunger will be completed on the basis of the predicted compression distance.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a technique that enables liquid feeding with small pulsation by reducing the volume of a liquid feeding pump. Disclosed is a liquid feeding pump comprising: a first plunger pump that has a first plunger; a second plunger pump that has a second plunger and is connected to the first plunger pump in series; a pressure sensor that is disposed on the downstream side of the second plunger pump; and a control unit that accepts an input of the discharge pressure of a liquid measured by the pressure sensor to control driving of the first plunger and driving of the second plunger, wherein when the first plunger pump compresses the liquid, the control unit drives the first plunger at a first speed, and then decreases the speed to a second speed slower than the first speed before the compression is completed, and wherein the control unit discharges the liquid from the second plunger pump by driving the second plunger in parallel with the driving of the first plunger.

    Abstract: An analysis apparatus capable of adjusting holding time of each stream in a plurality of HPLC streams without adjusting a pipe length, and capable of determining degradation of a separation column, a liquid-delivery failure, or the like without removing a pipe from the apparatus is implemented. Air is suctioned from the shipper 109 and injected into the verification flow paths 122 and 123, and holding time when a baseline of the detector 125 changes is stored in the control unit 130. The air in the verification flow paths 122 and 123 of the stream 101 and the stream 102 is measured, and holding time of the stream 101 and holding time of the stream 102 are compared to determine whether or not there is a difference of 1 second or more in the holding time. When the difference in holding time is 1 second or more, correction is performed. Holding time information of the same verification flow paths 122 and 123 in the stream 101 and the stream 102 are compared with holding time information stored in the control unit 130 and correction is performed when the difference in holding time is 1 second or more.

    Abstract: A liquid chromatograph has a long-life flow passage switching valve with reduced abrasion caused by sliding of flow passage end portions of a stator and flow passage end portions of a rotor seal. The flow passage switching valve includes: a stator; and a rotor seal connected with a rotor configured to rotate and slide on a circumference with respect to the stator. The stator has stator flow passages that open to the rotor seal. The rotor seal has a rotor seal flow passage for coupling two or more of the stator flow passages. A flow passage end portion that is positioned at a tip end in a sliding direction of the rotor seal flow passage is positioned in a direction opposite to the sliding direction of the stator flow passage end portion to be connected to the rotor seal flow passage, at least at the start of sliding.
