Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal display device, which can inspect a connection state of a transfer, and its inspecting method, while ensuring the electrical connection of a pad and the transfer. SOLUTION: In the electrically conductive pad 1008 of the transfer which electrically connects two substrates, a light transparent part 1102 is formed by using an ITO. The connection state of the transfer 1003 connected to an opposite side through the light transmitting part can be verified visually. The light transmitting part adjacent to the going around direction of the pad is placed at 90 deg. angle nearly perpendicular, and two mutually opposing transmitting parts are placed in the radial direction in nearly parallel. Because the light transparent part is formed in the electrically conductive pad by the ITO, the connection state of the transfer can be inspected from an array substrate side, and the electrical conductivity is also ensured.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a COG (chip on glass) structure in which the width of the frame can be effectively decreased even in the COG structure. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device having a COG structure, a common wiring 11 to connect plural chips 3 and a flexible printed circuit board(FPC) 8 are formed on a glass substrate 1. Pins 4-2 of the chips 3 to connect with the FPC and the common wiring 11 are connected on the glass substrate 1. The common wiring 11 and the FPC 8 are connected by using connecting terminals 7-1, 7-2 for the FPC which are disposed at least in one point on the common wiring 11.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To simplify the structure in excluding the necessity of a mechanism for interlocking a cleaning member with a shutter by directly fitting the cleaning member to the shutter or a member corresponding to the shutter. CONSTITUTION: A main body 2 of the optical system cleaning device 1 is formed in an approximately square shape, and is also formed in a substantially similar shape to a cartridge. A moving member 3 is movably fitted on the main body 2. Then, a tip part of the moving member 3 is fixed with a brush 5 as the cleaning member via a fitting part 6. When the cleaning device 1 is carried into the optical disk drive device, the moving member 3 is driven by a shutter opening means 20, and the moving member 3 is moved right and left on a front end periphery of the main body 2, so that at this time, an objective lens 7 as the optical system is cleaned by the brush 5.
