The cosmetic is prepared in the form of various soluble preparations or emulsion preparations such as beauty washes, emulsions, creams, packs and foundations, etc.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a pack cosmetic which has durative and high humectant effect by using a novel oil of a specific diacyl glycerol. CONSTITUTION:A novel liquid oil which is substantially composed of diacyl- glycerol of the formula (one of R1 through R3 is a residue of saturated 11-17C straight-chain fatty acid, another, saturated 10-18C branched-chain fatty acid and the remainder, H), is used as an essential component, preferably in an amount of 0.5 to 30wt.%, particularly 1 to 15wt.%, to give the subject pack cosmetic which has the above-stated effect to keep high moisture until the next morning, even when it is applied before going to bed and enable the cosmetic such as foundation to be spread well, because component (A) has adequate effects of blocking and softening skins, mucous membranes and hairs with lowered irritation, despite high permeation through keratin, and high stability. Further, the combination of the oil with a polyol humectant which is freely miscible with the oil increases synergetically the above-stated effects.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic using urea, succinic acid or its salt and a specific aminocarboxylic acid or further an amino acid or its salt, having excellently softening effects, having improved stability, not emitting an ammonia smell. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic using an aminocarboxylic acid of the formula [(n) is 3-9] or its salt (especially preferably g-aminocaproic acid), succinic acid or its salt and urea. Further the cosmetic is preferably mixed with an amino acid or its salt (especially specific basic amino acid such as lysine or histidine). By using the compound and urea, the cosmetic economically suppresses rise in pH, has excellently softening effects on skin, especially keratin layer and improved stability. The amount of the succinic acid used is approximately equivalent to that of urea, the amount of the aminocarboxylic acid is about 2/10-4/10 that of urea and the amount of the amino acid is preferably 0.1-3% based on total amount of the cosmetic.
