Abstract: A process for preparing a phosphoric ester having reduced odor, comprising contacting a phosphoric ester with at least one of an inert gas and steam at 100 DEG to 160 DEG C in a packed tower; a process for preparing a phosphoric ester having reduced odor, comprising repeating a set of processes comprising (A) heating a phosphoric ester, and contacting the heated phosphoric ester with at least one of an inert gas and steam; and (B) cooling the phosphoric ester obtained in the step (A); a process for preparing a phosphoric ester having reduced odor, comprising adding water to a phosphoric ester, and distilling water from the phosphoric ester under reduced pressure; and a process for preparing a phosphoric ester having reduced odor, comprising reacting an organic hydroxy compound with a phosphorylation agent, while introducing an inert gas into the mixture of the organic hydroxy compound and the phosphorylation agent. The phosphoric ester is useful for, for instance, a shampoo, a cleaning agent, a facial cleansing agent, an emulsifier, and the like.

Abstract: Un procedimiento para la preparación de un polímero a base de ácido (met) acrílico, que comprende las etapas dela fase 1 de introducción de ácido (met) acrílico y un monoalquil éter de polialquileno glicol en una relación molardentro de intervalo de 3:1 a 50:1, de exposición de los mismos a una reacción de esterificación en la presencia de uncatalizador ácido y un inhibidor de polimerización y la desactivación del catalizador ácido con un agente alcalino conel fin de obtener un producto de esterificación que contiene un (met) acrilato que tiene la fórmula (I) en la que R1 representa un átomo de hidrógeno o un grupo metilo; R2 representa un grupo alquilo que tiene 1 a 3átomos de carbono; AO representa un grupo oxialquileno que tiene 2 a 3 átomos de carbono; n representa un número de 1 a 300; y restos de ácido (met) acrílico y la fase 2 de copolimerización del (met) acrilato y los restos de ácido(met) acrílico a un valor de pH dentro del intervalo de 1,5 a 3,5.

Abstract: A process for the production of (meth)acrylic polymers useful as cement dispersing agents of stable quality, which comprises step 1 of mixing (meth)acrylic acid with a polyalkylene glycol monoalkyl ether at a mole ratio of 3 : 1 to 50 : 1, conducting the esterification between both in the presence of an acid catalyst and a polymerization inhibitor, and deactivating the acid catalyst with an alkali agent to obtain an esterification mixture containing a (meth)acrylic ester and residual (meth)acrylic acid, and step 2 of adjusting the esterification mixture prepared in step 1 to pH 1.5-3.5 and copolymerizing the (meth)acrylic ester with the residual (meth)acrylic acid.

The process does not give any product of high-viscous gel and therefore enables the industrially easy manufacture of a phosphoric monoester having an extremely high purity, a lowered orthophosphoric acid content, and a good odor.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a phosphoric monoester useful for detergents, textile treating agents, etc., in high purity and yield without converting the reactional product into a gelatinous material by reacting phosphorus pentoxide, etc., with an organic hydroxy compound under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing a phosphoric monoester is to react phosphorus pentoxide and polyphosphoric acid as phosphorylating agents with an organic hydroxy compound such as octanol under conditions so that a value represented by the formula may exceed 3.2, then add the phosphorus pentoxide to the resultant reactional product and carry out the reaction under conditions that the value, represented by the formula and based on the total amount of the polyphosphoric acid and the phosphorus pentoxide may be 2.8-3.2. Furthermore, the concentration of the polyphosphoric acid is preferably 105-120wt.% expressed in terms of orthophosphoric acid and the unreacted organic hydroxy compound is preferably removed from the reactional product containing the phosphoric monoester by the steam distillation to deodorize the reactional product.
