    Abstract: A detergent composition containing (A) one member selected from among phosphoric esters and salts thereof as represented by general formula (1) or a mixture of two or more of them and (B) at least one glyceryl ether having C4-C12 alkyl or alkenyl groups: (wherein R is C8-C18 hydrocarbyl; m is a number of 0 to 10 in terms of weight average; X is H, an alkali metal, ammonium, a basic amino acid, or an alkanolamine having a C2-C3 hydroxyalkyl group; and R is -(CH2CH2O)m-R or X). This detergent composition is lowly irritant to the skin and excellent in foaming properties.
