Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply incorporate a passive type device between printed circuit board layers of multi-layer structure, by embedding a capacitor between a first printed circuit board layer and a second printed circuit board layer for mutual connection of a through hole. SOLUTION: Related to a mutual connection structure to an embedded layer, a through hole 24 is formed by a standard dilling technology and the through hole 24 is plated with a metal 25 such as copper. With the function of an electrode 19 of a capacitor electrode 18 together with the fact that an Al layer does not entirely cover a capacitor dielectrics layer, the importance of an exposed dielectrics part 22 being left over is clear. A surface mutual connection structure 26 contacts a tantalum layer 12 which is a lower side plate of the capacitor, a surface mutual connection structure 27 contacts an electrode extension part 19 of the capacitor electrode 18 of the capacitor, and a surface mutual connection structure 28 and a surface mutual connection structure 29 contact an inductor spiral strip 21. Thus, the through hole is allowed to mutually connect two electrodes embedded in the capacitor.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional patch antenna by providing a nonconductive frame supporting resonators. SOLUTION: The nonconductive frame 124 supports the resonators 116, 118 of the patch antenna 100. The frame 124 can support the resonators 116, 118 without making holes in the resonators 116, 118 so as to solve a problem of generating an electric field component with an undesired polarity. In addition, the frame fixes the resonators 116, 118 at an area with a small current density thereby avoiding an undesired disturbing component form being generating in the radiation pattern. In one embodiment of this invention, the frame 124 is provided with a lip-like projection with an outer circumference meshing with an edge of a supply board 130 and then the frame 124 is fitted to the supply board 130 thereby.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna structure for mobile communication that transmits and receives an electromagnetic signal and is especially in compliance with the GSM(Global Systems for Mobile communications) standards. SOLUTION: One task of this invention is to provide an antenna structure causing decoupling especially between a transmission path and a reception path. The purpose is attained by the antenna structure of this invention having preferably e.g. two vertical couplings and provided with two separate ports for connection to a transmitter and a receiver. Furthermore, the impedance of the two couplings can independently and advantageously be matched with that of frequency band of a signal transmitted or received by the transmitter/the receiver.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small antenna package for radio communication equipment. SOLUTION: A radiation patch 38 which is adapted to the outer outline of radio communication equipment and has necessary antenna constitution is installed in a plastic piece 32 on a face 40 detached from a printed board 36. A ground face 42 is grounded to the opposite face of the plastic piece 32 and a feed 44 extends through the plastic piece 32. The plastic piece 32 covers at least a part of a transmission/reception switch 46. Consequently, the metallic face of the transmission/reception switch 46 is used as an extended ground face against an antenna.
