    Abstract: A decimal point display circuit for use in an electronic desktop calculator, etc. which displays the result of a calculation or an entry number from the higher digits when it exceeds the number of digits in the numerical display, and displays the number of digits above the decimal point but not displayed in the numerical display by a digit mark in the numerical display.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the noise generated on a power source wiring or an earthing wiring by a method wherein wire bonding is performed on the part ranging from the power source wiring pad or the earth wiring pad toward the hanging lead part supporting a die-pad part. CONSTITUTION:The area ranging from the power source wiring pad 6 or the earth wiring pad to the prescribed lead pin of a lead frame 1 is wire-bonded using a lead wire 4, and a hanging lead 5 is also wire-bonded. As a result, when the wire-bonding is performed on the area ranging from the power source wiring pad 6 at the four corners of the semiconductor chips 3 to the hanging leads 5, the wire-bonded hanging leads 5 are connected to wide die-pads 2, and they can be imaginary regarded as an earthed surface. The power source wiring 7 from the power source wiring pads 6 of each corner of the chips 3 to the middle of the side of the chips 3 can be equivalently shortened to 1/4, and the noise level can also be reduced to 1/4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify a measurement of a storage holding characteristic, by measuring the storage holding quantity of a semiconductor nonvolatile memory being a body memory, A/D converting its result, and writing it in the second semiconductor nonvolatile memory. CONSTITUTION:A controlling circuit 4 operates a measuring circuit 3, and measures the storage holding quantity of a body memory 1. A result of its measurement is obtained as an output of the measuring circuit 3, and it is encoded by an A/D converting circuit 5 so as to be convenient for being written in a memory 2. This encoded measured value is written in the memory 2 by operation of the controlling circuit 4. Subsequently, the storage holding quantity of the body memory 1 is measured, and after that, read-out of the memory 2 is executed by the controlling circuit 4, and it is displayed on an indicator 6. Decision of the inspection is executed by the display of the indicator 6.
