Abstract: PURPOSE:To minimize deflection, torsion and the like upon molding a box body and prevent age deformation and crack due to the weight of the main body of a refrigerator as well as the deformation and crack of the box body due to dropping shock or especially obliquely transversal shock load upon transportation, in the refrigerator, in which a foot structural body, to which a high- pressure side unit and an evaporating pan are attached, is incorporated into the box body formed integrally of synthetic resin at the lower part of the main body of the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A body 15 is constituted of an outer peripheral frame 16, a fixing surface 17 abutted against the lower flange 13 of an outer casing 2, an inner peripheral frame 18 formed vertically to the fixing surface 17 and a receiving surface 21, having a cavity hole 19 at the center thereof and provided with a high-pressure side unit and an evaporating pan 20, which are fixed thereto, while said inner peripheral frame 18 is constituted of a substantially H-shaped first inner peripheral frame 22 and a second inner peripheral frame 23 connected to each other, a connecting flange 24 having a plurality of holes 25, and ribs 26, 26a connecting the first and second inner peripheral frames 22, 23 to a connecting flange 24 and provided with equal intervals.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent a deformation, whitening, cracks and breakage of a box body due to the concentration of a load to the leg adjusting screws or thrust load by a drop impact at the time of transport or installation from generating. CONSTITUTION: A structure around legs consists of a box body, storage surface 27 to which a high pressure unit is fixed, outer peripheral frame 28, outer peripheral protruding part 29, and vertical piece 35. The vertical piece 35 is formed in such a manner that a female thread 30 to which a leg adjusting screw 24 is screwed is formed, and the vertical piece 35 is formed into a cylindrical shape to be engaged with a holding part 32 on the outer periphery of which a plurality of protruding ribs 31 are formed, and on the inside of which a plurality of recessed ribs 33 and a stopping part 34 are formed. The holding part 32 is formed of a heteroplastic reinforced synthetic resin in advance. Then, right after the box body for the structure around legs is formed, the holding part 32 is press-fitted and engaged with the vertical piece 35.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove the deformation and cracks of a housing body due to a drop impact load during transportation, to remove the deformation of the lower part of the housing body due to the thrust of the casing body caused by a drop impact during transportation and to prevent the rust of the lower part of the housing body in a refrigerator in which the housing body integrally formed with a synthetic resin is assembled in the lower part of a main refrigerator body. CONSTITUTION:A housing body 15 of a turning structure 14 is composed of a housing surface 16 to which a high pressure unit is fixed, an inner periphery frame 18 extending upward and vertically from the outer periphery 17 of the housing surface 16, a fixing surface 19 abutting against a lower flange 3 of a refrigerator in the upper part of the inner periphery frame 18, and an outer periphery frame 21 extending downward in the vertical direction at a position inside the outer periphery side surface 2 of an outer casing from the outer periphery 20 of the fixing surface 19. A part in which the fixing surface 19 traverses the inner periphery frame 18 is formed in a circular arc shape and includes a flange 24 connected to the inner periphery frame 18 in parallel with the fixing surface 19 from a circular terminal end 23 and a plurality of holes 25 provided on the flange 24.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a shelf to be moved up and down while mounting on a frame and to adjust its position in such a way as it may be slid freely by a method wherein a stopper claw is provided at a shaft having a gear fixed to a deep side of the frame holding the shelf and a guide pin, a rack engaging with the gear and a rack-like stopper groove with the stopper claw are formed. CONSTITUTION:When a shelf 9 is moved up and down, at first an operator's side of a frame 10 is lifted up to cause a stopper claw 14 fixed to the frame 10 to be released from a rack-like stopper groove 17 and then a gear 12 fixed to a shaft is rotated while being engaging with it. Then, the frame 10 is moved up and down directly along a rail 15. At this time, if the shelf 9 reaches its target position, an operator's side of the frame 10 is returned to its original horizontal position, resulting in that the stopper claw 14 and the rack-like stopper groove 16 are engaged and they are kept at their positions with a force for stopping rotation of a shaft 11 and a frictional rotating force of the gear 12. A sliding groove 15a stores a part of a guide pin 13 formed in the rail 15 and keeps its sliding movement.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator defining a refrigerating chamber in an upper layer and a drawer-type freezing chamber in a lower layer while having an ice making device therein, wherein the refrigerator is featured by an enlarged ice storing space and an improvement in handling of an ice scoop. SOLUTION: A freezing container 26 is provided with a partition wall 29 as an integral part thereof for defining a frozen food storing corner 27 and an ice storing corner 28. An ice storing box 30 is mounted in the ice storing corner 28 along the inner wall thereof. The partition plate 29 is provided with a crossing region 32 at a front portion of the outer side wall of the ice storing box 30 and such a crossing region 32 merges with the front wall 31 of the ice storing corner. The crossing region 32 is indented toward the frozen food storing corner 27 to define a recessed portion 33. Numeral 34 indicates a guide rib and an opening of the recessed portion 33 is disposed at an outer side wall of the ice storing box 30. Since an ice scoop 35 can be set between the recessed portion 33 formed toward the frozen food storing corner 27 and the guide rib 34, the ice storing box 30 can expand its storing space to a front wall of the freezing container thus assuring a maximum ice storing space.
