Abstract: A refrigerator (1) which comprises: a thermally insulated housing (5) opening forwards at a front surface thereof; a drawing door (10,11,12) for covering the forward opening of the thermally insulated housing; a magnetic gasket (14) positioned between the drawing door (10,11,12) and the thermally insulated housing (5) and fitted to the drawing door (10,11,12); a pivotally supported handle (34) connected to the drawing door (10,11,12) for movement between opened and closed positions for opening and closing the door, respectively; and a trigger member (37) engageable with an open edge of the thermally insulated housing (5) and drivingly coupled with the handle (34) for movement between projected and retracted positions, the handle (34) having a presser face (39) and a pull face (40) both integrally formed therewith, the presser face (39) acting to press the trigger member (37) from the retracted position towards the projected position in response to movement of the handle (34) from the closed position towards the opened position, the pull face (40) acting to return the trigger member (37) from the projected position towards the retracted position in response to movement of the handle (34) from the opened position towards the closed position, the trigger member (37) being spaced a distance from an abutment face (13) of the open edge of the thermally insulated housing so long as the handle (34) is held in the closed position.

The door handle structure includes a generally elongated handle (6) rigidly secured at one end to an opposite side portion of the access door (2) remote from the hinge axis (H). This handle (6) has a grip area (10) extending widthwise of the access door (2).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat leakage into a refrigerator to a minimum limit while preventing dew condensation by providing insertion grooves in an overall width on the upper and lower parts of a front surface of a resin plate for constituting a partition wall, fixedly inserting the upper and lower ends of a partition plate into the grooves, and laying an antidewing heater on the inner surface of the partition plate. SOLUTION: Insertion grooves 2 are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the front surface of a resin plate 1 for forming a partition wall 6. Stepped parts provided on the upper and lower surfaces of a partition plate 3 made of a magnetic metal plate are inserted into the grooves 2, and the front surface of the plate 3 is set in plane with the plate 1. A heat insulator 4 molded by foam polystyrene is disposed in the plate 1, and an antidewing heater 5 made of an electric heating wire or the like is laid on the inner surface of the plate 3 in the refrigerator. Thus, heat leakage into the refrigerator can be suppressed to a minimum limit while preventing dew condensation, and power consumption can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce the operating man-hour by fixing a baffle plate for partitioning an opening by a pawl provided at the front part of the plate, a rib engaged with the pawl, a protrusion provided on the back surface of the plate, and a recess engaged with the protrusion provided on the front surface of a control box. CONSTITUTION: A baffle plate 31 is fixed by inserting the protrusion provided on the back surface into the recess provided on the front surface of a control box 34, and then by a rib 36 formed at a cover 33 and a pawl 35 provided at the front part of the plate 31. Then, the rear part of the plate 31 is suppressed by the protrusion 39 protruding from an inner box 3 to effectively fix the plate 31. Thus, the operating man-hour is reduced, and an article value is not obviated by impairing a sense of beauty. Even if the box 34 is suppressed by a foaming jig 39 by suppressing the plate 31 by the protrusion 39 protruding from the box 3, the rear part of the plate 31 is not removed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the contact of the emitting duct of a low temp. chamber with the upper case thereof and to enhance assembling workability by integrally molding the rails receiving the upper case of the low temp. chamber from the emitting ducts provided to both corners of the top surface of the low temp. chamber and inserting the engaging plate provided to a partition part in the grooves of the emitting ducts to fix the same. CONSTITUTION:In assembling work, an inner box 3 is inserted in an outer box 2 and, next, the second emitting duct 20 is mounted to the inner box 3. Next, a partition plate 22 is mounted and the interior part of the third emitting duct 21 is placed on the receiving part 20a provided to the second emitting duct 20 and the front surface is assembled so that the engaging plate 22a provided to the partition part 22 is inserted in the groove 21a provided to the third emitting duct 21. Next, the second partition wall 8 is mounted from above and, thereafter, the gap between the outer and inner boxes 2, 3 is filled with a urethane foam material to form a heat insulating material 4. By this constitution, even when the upper case 19 of a low temp. chamber is received on the rail 21b integrally molded from the third emitting duct 21, the case 19 does not come into contact with the third emitting duct 21 and assembling workability is enhanced.
