SOLUTION: A freshness maintainer consists of a freshness keeping antibacterial cassette 37, which has built-in freshness keeping antibacterial substance 27 where aromatic matter 26 having a freshness keeping action is kneaded in antibacterial material 25 having volatile antibacterial components and has a plurality of air holes 38, and projecting ribs 47 continuous at the back wall 45 and the under wall of the storage of a vegetable container 40, and the freshness keeping antibacterial cassette 37 is attached, being plugged in the top opening of the storage 41, whereby a ventilation path 49 is made between the projecting ribs 47 and the freshness keeping antibacterial cassette 37, and freshness keeping antibacterial components can be smoothly diffused, thus highly effective freshness keeping can be made. Moreover, the freshness keeping antibacterial cassette can be mounted or removed for replacement by one touch.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having such a door structure as a door supporter is not removed easily at the time of practical use and the inner space of compartment can be used effectively. SOLUTION: Stop holes 21 are made in the outer side face 20 at rising parts 17, 18 formed integrally on the opposite sides of the inner plate 16 of a door 15 and a door supporter 23 having projecting parts 25 being bent integrally at the opposite ends of a front supporting part 24 is provided. Since a stop claw 27 engaging with the stop hole 21 is provided on the inner side face 26 of the projecting part 25, the inner side face 26 of the projecting part 25 moves in the direction for embracing the rising parts 17, 18 when a force is applied to bend the door supporter 23 at the time of opening/closing the door and the stop claw 27 is not disengaged from the stop hole 21. Since the door supporter 23 is not enlarged nor the rising parts 17, 18 are widened at the time of holding, space in the compartment is not invaded.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a free fall of a shelf by a tension force of a spring by a method wherein a frame front surface is inclined slightly upward, moved up and down directly along a sliding groove and then the spring is forcedly abutted against an opposing abutted surface. CONSTITUTION:As an operator's side of a frame 10 is lifted up, a stopper claw 13 fixed to a frame 10 is removed from a rack-like stopper groove 15 around a rotating axis of guide rollers 12 at both ends fixed at a deep side of the frame 10. The frame 10 holding a shelf 9 is moved up or down to a target position along a sliding groove 14a of a rail 14 directly while the operator's side of the frame 10 being lifted up. At this time, a spring 13 prevents a free fall of the shelf by a tension force of the spring 13 forcedly abutted against an abutting surface 16 having a part of a sliding groove 14a of the rail 14 being extended.
