    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a shrink film which is superior in gas barrier properties, by applying uniaxial stretching to an acrylonitrile series resin film. CONSTITUTION:Oxygen and carbon dioxide gas barrier properties of a bottle is improved drastically and the bottle can be made into a plastic bottle which does not spoil taste, nutrient and refreshing properties of beer or fruit drink or carbonated beverage which is content of the bottle, by winding an acrylonitrile series resin film, which has been stretched unixially in a longitudinal or lateral direction and is superior in oxygen and carbon dioxide gas barrier properties, round the belly of a plastic bottle.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain light shielding characteristics maintained stably for a long period by sealing a mixture of a specified temp. sensitive polymer which is transparent at low temp. in the presence of water but becomes opaque at temp. together with water in a closed cell and forming to a plate. CONSTITUTION:The temp. sensitive polymer which is transparent at low temp. in the coexistence of water but is opaque at high temp. prepd. by insolubilizing in water an org. polymer of a deriv. of acrylamide or methacrylamide having amphiphilic propety, or a polymer having ether linkages in the primary chain, or an org. polymer having ether linkages in the side chain, is sealed together with water in a closed cell to form a plate body. Such org. polymer is made hydrophobic by heating becoming turbid and shows a cloud point. But such material having variable amt. of water absorption depending upon temp. when it is insolubilized in water may be useful even if a cloud point is not always recognized. The insolubilization of the polymer of (meth)acylamide derivs. is achieved by several methods. Since a heat sensitive plate comprised of such polymer has an automatic controlling function, it is used in horticultural equipment, solar house, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a vinyl chloride resin film having extremely excellent weather resistance, by blending a phosphate ester obtd. by using an alcohol mixture in a specified ratio as a starting material. CONSTITUTION:An alcohol mixture consisting of not less than 50% xylenol, 10-50% ethyl phenol and 1-10% cresol is used as a starting material to produce a phosphate ester. 2-15pts.wt. phosphate ester is blended with 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin. Further, plasticizer, stabilizer, etc. are used according to purpose. A vinyl chloride resin film having excellent weather resistance can be obtd. from the resulting compsn.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a coating material, preventing the migration of a plasticizer and an additive and eliminating contamination of a product, etc., when applied to an agricultural PVC film, by adding a specified compound into an aqueous dispersion of a (meth)acrylate (co)polymer. CONSTITUTION:2-40wt% of a compound of a the formula (wherein R is CH3 or C2H5; n is 2 or 3) is added into an aqueous dispersion of a polymer obtained by the (co)polymerization of a (meth)acrylate monomer or the copolymerization of said monomer with a copolymerizable vinyl monomer. When a coat is formed by the application of the material obtained to a soft or semisoft vinyl chloride film, the plasticizer or an additive is prevented from migration, and defect such as contamination of the product or sticking is eliminated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a functional laminated glass excellent in durability and having the selective transmission properties of light rays. CONSTITUTION:In manufacturing a laminated glass in which a functional film 3 forming a thin film (functional thin film) 4 having a function of controlling selectively the transmittance of visible light rays and heat is laminated on glass sheets 1 with bonding materials 2 such as polyvinyl butyral, intermittent portions are formed on the functional thin film 4 at the parts thereof positioned in the inside of 3mm or longer from both end parts of the glass sheets 1 to manufacture the laminated 7 glass. The deterioration of the functional thin film due to moisture, chemicals and like is thus prevented, so that the durability and utility of the laminated glass has been improved.
