    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring a user equipment (UE) to communicate with a network entity based on a selected antenna panel reported to a network entity. An example method generally includes transmitting, to a network entity, a report including information associated with an antenna panel selected for communications between the user equipment and the network entity; selecting a starting time and a wait time to apply a configuration associated with the selected antenna panel; activating an update timer based on the starting time and the wait time; and communicating with the network entity based on the configuration associated with the selected antenna panel after expiry of the update timer.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses that enable a base station (BS) to transmit downlink control information (DCI) without downlink data to indicate a transmission configuration indicator (TCI). In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive DCI with one or more configured fields and without downlink data and may interpret the DCI, based on the one or more configured fields, to identify a TCI. The TCI may be a Type 1 beam indication or another type of beam indication. The DCI may be a DCI format 1_1 or 1_2 or another DCI format, such as DCI format 1_0 or a DCI scheduling an uplink configuration, among other examples, and may indicate another configuration with the TCI, such as an SPS release, an SPS activation, a HARQ configuration, or a secondary cell dormancy configuration, among other examples.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a control message including a first indication for updating a beam for communicating with the base station to a first beam and a second indication for configuring a set of reference signals for measuring the first beam. The UE may measure the first beam using the reference signals. The UE may communicate with the base station based on the beam measurement. The control message may include a format for jointly indicating beam updates and reference signal configurations.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) is configured to set a transmission power for an uplink communication based, at least in part, on a downlink communication. The UE is further configured to perform the uplink communication based, at least in part, on the set transmission power while concurrently performing the downlink communication. For example, in some aspects, the transmission power for the uplink communication may be set based on the type of downlink communication or based on one or more parameters associated with the downlink communication. In additional aspects, an algorithm may be used to set the transmission power for the uplink communication.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for multiplexing of overlapped uplink channel transmission repetitions are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) may determine that at least a portion of a first set of uplink channel transmission repetitions overlaps with at least a portion of a second set of uplink channel transmission repetitions. The UE may modify the first set of uplink channel transmission repetitions based on the second set of uplink channel transmission repetitions. A base station (BS) may transmit a first downlink transmission associated with the first set of uplink channel transmission repetitions that overlaps with at least a portion of a second set of uplink channel transmission repetitions associated with a second downlink transmission. The BS may receive a modified version of the first set of uplink channel transmission repetitions based on the second set of uplink channel transmission repetitions. Thus, the reliability of uplink repetitions can be increased.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. The described techniques provide for improving negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback from a user equipment (UE) to limit self-interference during full-duplex communications with a base station. After failing to receive a downlink transmission from a base station, a UE may generate feedback associated with self-interference at the UE to transmit to the base station. The UE may then transmit a report to the base station indicating that the UE failed to successfully decode the downlink transmission, and the UE may include the feedback associated with self-interference at the UE in the report. The base station may receive the report and adapt configurations used for full-duplex communications with the UE based on the feedback to limit self-interference at the UE during full-duplex communications.
