Abstract: The present invention relates to an applied-voltage fuzzy control process for induction motors, whose particularity is that it comprises the following steps: the measurement of a speed error (Ew) produced by the comparison between the current speed (w) of an electric motor (2) and a reference speed (wref); the generation of the derivative (dEw/dt)of this speed error; the measurement of a power error (Ep) generated by the comparison between the power supplied (Pin) to the motor (2) and a reference power (Pref); the application of a fuzzy control to the speed error (Ew), to the derivative (dEw/dt) of the speed error, and to the power error (Ep) so as to generate the values of the voltage (Vphase) and the pulse (F) that are suitable to drive the electric motor. The fuzzy control is divided into two sections: a first one (FSC) for motor speed control and a second one (FSP) for motor power control.

Abstract: A process for the fuzzy control of switching power supplies which have at least one inductor and at least one switching device, and a device for performing this control, the particularity whereof resides in the fact that it comprises the following steps: measuring the value of the current (IL) on the inductor (L); measuring the value of the input voltage (Vi) of the switching power supply; measuring an error (E) generated between a reference voltage (VREF) and an output voltage (Vo) of the power supply; defining fuzzy membership functions for the value of the current (IL) on the inductor (L), for the input voltage value (Vi), and for the error (E); defining an output membership function for the value of the duty cycle (DC) of the power supply; defining multiple fuzzy inference rules to which the measured values and the membership functions are applied; calculating the corresponding weight functions of the membership functions; defuzzifying the results obtained by means of the weight function calculation and the application of fuzzy rules so as to obtain a real value of the duty cycle (DC) which is suitable to drive the switching device (SW).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle the control signal of a power switching element by dividing is frequency of a basic memory scanning clock signal by the division value which is directed primarily from a look up table by a digital selection command and is increased by one. SOLUTION: An operation block includes a multiplier and a divider which divides frequency by (N+1), and also necessarily includes an auxiliary divider which performs the division by (N+1), being provided upstream of the divider, and a look up table which is operated in advance, using a numerical value n being decided by digital selection data, that is, the divisor n of the divider. The prescaling ratio which is stored in a memory and is the function of the number m of samples being constituted by dividing sine wave and is the factor of multiplication pertaining to the clock frequency Clk can be set in advance by a three-bit command. This way, the output of the prescaler becomes the basic scanning clock signal Clkm of a memory.
