PURPOSE:To effectively clean dirt such as magnetic powder. etc., by supporting freely rotatably the shaft of a cleaning roller and laminating and fixing a lot of sheet members having disk shapes in axial direction on sleeves. CONSTITUTION:The axial center line 45 of the rotary shaft of the cleaning roller 41 of the edge part of a cleaning roller arranging part 36 is made to have a prescribed angle theta with the axial center line 46 of the rotary shaft of a rotary drum 5. Consequently, sheet members 43, 43..., of the roller 41 are abutted obliquely with the outer peripheral surface of the rotary drum 5 and tape contaction surfaces 6a, 6a... of magnetic heads 6, 6... s a and even though the roller 41 is rotated by being accompanied by the rotation of the drum 5. a cleaning effect is not reduced extremely because the rotational speed becomes relatively sllower than that of the drum 5, Furthermore, the cleaning of magnetic heads 6, 6... is effectively performed because the roller 41 is a roller made by laminating a lot of sheet members 43, 43... a in the axial direction of the roller, respective sheet members 43, 43... are abutted with the outer peripheral surface of the drum 5 and the tape contaction surfaces of 6a, 6a... of magnetic heads 6, 6... while being bent.
