    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forcedly eject a recording medium cassette when the recording medium cassette is not ejected to a prescribed position, in the cassette drive provided with a cassette loading mechanism for making the recording medium cassette land on a driving mechanism by making it move in the almost right angle direction against the pull-in direction after the recording medium cassette inserted to a cassette port is pulled in the inserting direction. SOLUTION: This cassette drive is provided with a position sensor 30 for detecting that the recording medium cassette 2 exists in the position ejectable by only the almost linear movement in the ejecting direction and the mechanism 15 forcedly ejecting the cassette for making the recording medium cassette 2 move to the ejecting direction, and it is constituted in such a manner that the recording medium cassette 2 is forcedly ejected by operating the cassette forcedly ejecting mechanism 15 when the recording medium cassette 2 is not ejected in spite of issuing the ejecting instruction to the cassette drive and also when the position sensor 30 detects that the ejection is allowed only by making the recording medium cassette 2 linearly move to the ejecting direction.

Therefore, the drive 3B of the slave side automatically forms an optical disk H for back up, simultaneously and in parallel executes the processes corresponding to the commands, surely receives the data outputted from the computer 2 and surely executes the recording and reproducing processes.

A system controller 1 determines rewrite on the basis of count values CE1-CE3.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to lock quickly a PLL circuit without any inconvenience even if lock of the PLL circuit is released in a part of pattern data having a long reversal interval. SOLUTION: A reproduced signal SP is converted into a binary signal of 1, 0 by a binarizing circuit 81, a clock signal PCK is reproduced by PLL circuits 82-84 referring to this binary signal. The binary signal is latched by the clock signal PCK in a D flip-flop 85 and reproduced data are obtained. A detector 86 detects synchronizing signals f2, f3 of an ATF(automatic track finding) pattern from the reproduced signal SP, a generator 87 outputs an up-mode signal SUP in one part of a period in which a reproduced signal (fch/6) of an IBG (inter-block gap) section is obtained making its detected output SD as a timing reference, and improves pull-in gain. Thereby, even if the lock of the PLL circuit is released in a period in which a pilot signal (fch/72) of the ATF pattern is obtained as a reproduced signal SP, lock of the PLL circuit can be quickly performed in the IBG section after that.

Consequently, generation penalties is reduced, and process delay can be prevented.
