    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the error rate, to increase the production yield and to enhance the accuracy in search for picture, by repeadedly inserting the data of the same picture number in continuous four horizontal cycles within in the vertical blanking cycle, and by reading the reproduced data of picture number by the majority logic circuit. CONSTITUTION:The video signal outputted from a drop out compensation circuit 2 is depicted of its signals in 18H, 19H, 20H by a gate circuit. Code signals PN2, PN3, PN4 which show the same picture number inserted in the depicted 18H, 19H, 20H cycles are written on shift registers 7a, 7b, 7c according to the control of R/W control circuit 8. The picture number codes PN2, PN3, PN4 inserted in 18H, 19H, 20H cycles are parallelly inputted by each bit sequentially to a majority logic circuit 10, and the logic of data inputted is determined by majority logic by each bit, and outputted to digital signal processing circuit 6.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify various adjustments such as pickup position adjustment, hue adjustment, color purity adjustment, resolution adjustment, and white balance adjustment by forming concentric-circle recording tracks on which prescribed information is recorded on the part where information can be reproduced with a pickup and reproducing information for adjustments by the pickup. CONSTITUTION:A circular chucking aperture 2 is provided in the center of an adjusting disc part 1. Circular recording tracks 3 having the same center as the aperture 2 (including spiral tracks) are formed, and information which adjusts the pickup position, the hue, the resolution, the white balance, etc., is recorded on recording tracks 3. These recording tracks 3 have such size that they can be reproduced by the pickup. A motor 12 is rotated before information on recording tracks 3 is reproduced, and a pickup 23 is moved to reproduce information, and information on this adjusting disc part 1 is seen on the screen of a monitor. Thus, the position of the pickup 23, the hue, etc., are adjusted.
