    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg material which has little unevenness on the surface of a prepreg and excellent operability when the prepreg is wound on a core. SOLUTION: The prepreg material comprises a prepreg containing reinforcing fiber and matrix resin and adhered onto a release sheet, wherein the content of the resin in the prepreg is a range of 15 to 30wt.%, the moisture absorbing size change ratio of the sheet is 0.6% or less, and the release resistance of the prepreg from the sheet is a range of 40 to 250g/25mm.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a fiber-reinforced prepreg with less generation of unevenness by being kept in standing after cutting and a low resin content by specifying the content of a matrix resin and the peeling resistance between the prepreg and a release sheet. CONSTITUTION: In a prepreg material in which a prepreg consisting of a reinforcing fiber and a matrix resin is sticked on a release sheet, the content of the matrix resin in the prepreg is 13-32wt.% and the peeling resistance between the prepreg and the release sheet is 10-250g/25mm. As the reinforcing fiber, glass fibers, aramide fibers and carbon fibers are preferable. In addition, as the matrix resin, epoxy resins are ordinarily used. In addition, as the release sheet,e.g. by adjusting appropriately the knid and the amt. of a silicone releasing agent, the peeling resistance of the prepreg can be made within the aimed range.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a slip by a method wherein after the surface of a pipe formed of uncured thermal curable resin prepreg is coated with an antibacterial agent, thermal curable resin is cured and treated, a specified difference in level is formed in the longitudinal direction of a pipe surface. SOLUTION: A substance wherein two one-way prepregs formed of reinforcing fibers and epoxy resin are laminated such that prepreg fiber directions are extended at right angles with each other is wound around a mandrel made of iron three times. Further, the surface of prepreg formed of thermal curable resin wound around the mandrel formed of iron is spray-coated with an anti-bacterial water solution and after a tape is wound therearound and placed in a curing furnace to effect curing, the tape is removed. A handrail having 10-700 μm differences in level formed in the longitudinal direction of a pipe surface at internals of a distance of 1-50 mm is molded. This constitution reduces the generation of cold and static electricity without mounting a cover, and simply manufactures a handrail having anti-bacterial operation.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently open a fiber bundle to keep the width thereof by pressing the fiber bundle to the peripheral surface of the non-vibration roller positioned just behind a vibration roller and subsequently bringing the same into contact with the peripheral surface of the non-vibration roller over the contact length specific multiple or more of the fiber length coming into contact with the peripheral surface of the vibration roller. SOLUTION: A reinforcing fiber bundle 2 is unwound so that the tension thereof at a time of unwinding is within a range of 0.1-5N to be passed through vibration rolls 5a, 5b vibrated by vibration sources 4a, 4b and non-vibration rolls 6a, 6b. The vibration rollers 5a, 5b are set to vibration frequency of 1-100Hz and vibration amplitude of 1-50mm (pref. 5-20mm) and vibrates the reinforcing fiber bundle 2 in the direction crossing a fiber rinning direction to open the same. The non-vibration roller 6a, 6b keep and fix the opened width of the fiber bundle 2 opened by the vibration rollers 5a, 5b. The contact lengths of the vibration rollers 5a, 5b and the fiber bundle are compared and the contact length of the non-vibration rollers 6a, 6b and the fiber bundle 2 is set to 2-10 times and, as concrete length, the contact length is pref. 100mm or more.

SOLUTION: In a prepreg material prepared by sticking a prepreg containing a reinforcing fiber and a matrix to a release sheet, the content of the matrix resin in the prepreg is in the range of 15-30wt.%, the surface tack of the prepreg is at least 0.3kg, and the number of dry spots on the release sheet of the prepreg is 10 spots/m or below.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for opening carbon fiber bundles, capable of simply opening the carbon fiber bundles at a high speed without generating fuzzes, to provide a method for opening the carbon fiber bundles, and to provide a method for continuously and stably producing a prepreg from the opened carbon fiber bundles. SOLUTION: In this device, ten or more mutually paralleled carbon fiber bundles are bent at prescribed angles on plural roller groups and simultaneously passed through the roller groups to open the bundles. Therein, two to ten pairs each comprising a vibrated free rotation roll 4 vibrated in the axial direction of the roll and a non-vibrated free rotation roll 5 are arranged, and the diameters of the vibrated free rotation roller 4 and the non-vibrated free rotation roller 5 are set to 20-50 mm and 50-120 mm, respectively. Distances not contacting with the rolls between the rolls are further set to 10-100 mm, respectively.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manufacturing method and apparatus with high productivity being inexpensive and having almost no changing losses by providing a winder with an automatic changing mechanism for winding up connected resin films on a waiting resin film winding roll. SOLUTION: Rolling out shafts 1a, 1b of a release sheet 4 having a turret mechanism have winders 4a, 4b with release sheets 4 wound respectively. Those are the winding out shaft 1a being in the period of winding out a release sheet currently and the winding out shaft 1b being in the period of winding out a waiting release sheet currently. The winding out shafts 1a, 1b include each pre-driving unit that commonly acts as a primary driving unit for conducting pre-driving before primary driving by sequence control. The press mechanism 2 operates to press and superimposed the release sheet 4 of the release sheet winder 4a being wound out currently on the waiting release sheet winder 4b and then to join the sheets through adherence. Finally, the release sheet 4 from the winder 4a being currently in winding out period by a cutting mechanism 3a is cut off the winding shaft.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the generation of bonding inferiority between a core material and a prepreg or between prepregs even if a prepreg material is allowed to stand after cutting by supporting release paper on one surface of a striplike prepreg having a specific resin containing ratio and covering the other surface thereof with a cover film. SOLUTION: Striplike paper 2 is applied to one surface of a striplike prepreg 1 to support the prepreg 1. The other surface of the prepreg 1 is covered with a cover film 3 composed of a sunthetic resin film. The cover film 3 extends up to the end parts in the width direction of the release film as if encloses the prepreg but may have the same width as the prepreg 1. The prepreg 1 consists of reinforcing fibers and an uncured resin infiltrated thereinto and the resin impregnation ratio thereof is 15-30wt.%. As the synthetic resin film as the cover film 3, a polyethylene film is pref. and the tensile strength of the film is pref. 20MPa or more in the longitudinal direction thereof and 16MPa or more in the lateral direction thereof.
