Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a printing time by a method wherein an introduced printing medium is carried by a belt under effecting a crease streching and a width direction positioning and a printing process is held at the printing part which is arranged oppositely by a printing medium and one or more line heads as many as color numbers, thereafter, dried by a drying part. SOLUTION: A sheet printing medium is introduced to a predetermined position of a juxtapositioned carrier part 3 under effecting a crease streching, a centering, a curl correcting with two or more rolls 2b at the introduction part 2. In the carrier part 3 an adhesive agent is applied to a carrier belt 3b with a coating roll 3c in two or more steps and the introduced printed medium is pressed and stuck to the carrier belt 3b by a pressing roller 3e, and carried to the printing 4 in this state. A printing part 4 is arranged orthogonally to carrying direction of the printing medium, and arranged oppositely over the allouer width of a carrying belt 3, and has a line head 40 corresponding to an ink used. The print processed printing medium is dried at a pre-dry part 5, and further a drying part 6.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying a coating solution which can always control the clearance between the surface of a substrate and an application head to be constant and apply the coating solution correctly and uniformly on the surface of the substrate and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: In the applicator having a table for sucking/fixing the substrate, the application head for applying the coating solution at a position which is separated at a constant distance from the substrate and faces the substrate, the first moving means for moving the table and the head relatively in the application direction, the second moving means for moving the head to make it approach or be separated from the substrate, and a height detecting means for detecting the height of the surface of the substrate in front of, in the application direction of, the head, a position detecting means for detecting the relative position in the application direction of the table or the head, a storage means for temporarily storing an application-directional position signal by the position detecting means and a substrate surface height signal by the height detecting means, and a height control means for controlling the height of the application head on the basis of the position signal and the surface height signal are provided. The method using the applicator is provided.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the print distance while enhancing the print quality by providing a charge correcting means in order to suppress the effect of one or more preceding ink drops on an ink drop not to be printed and correcting flight of the ink drop to a gutter to a constant direction. SOLUTION: Ink drops are ejected continuously from a nozzle 1 in synchronism with a drop generation signal 11. A shift register 5 shifts an image data 12 sequentially in conjunction with ink drop ejection. A scan signal generator 6 sets the number of drops to be printed in the deflecting direction and outputs a number of drop signal. Furthermore, a charge memory 7 stores the charge data of an ink drop to be printed. A gutter charge memory 8 stores a gutter charge data for flying an ink drop not to be printed toward a gutter 4. In case of a data not to be printed, a data corrected according to print information is outputted from the gutter charge memory 8 and variation of flying direction due to effect of a preceding drop is suppressed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the ink residual amount detection apparatus of a printing press capable of easily detecting the residual amount of ink with good accuracy, by mounting a discrimination circuit for discriminating the residual amount of ink on the basis of the output signal of a filter circuit and outputting a signal when the residual amount of the ink reaches a predetermined value or less. CONSTITUTION:The light emitting part 4a of a photoelectric sensor is driven to irradiate the surface of ink with light and the reflected light is incident to the light receiving part 4b of said photoelectric sensor to be converted to a voltage signal which is, in turn, amplified by an amplifier 7. The output signal of the amplifier 7 is passed through a filter circuit 8 to extract only a variation component which is, in turn, amplified to a necessary voltage level by an amplifier 9 to be rectified by a rectifier circuit 10 while the peak value thereof is held by a peak holding circuit 11 to obtain a variation component, that is, the level signal corresponding to the amount of ink. The output voltage of the peak holding circuit 11 is compared with reference voltage by a comparing circuit 12 and, when the output voltage of the peak holding circuit 11 reaches the reference voltage or less, a signal is outputted from the comparing circuit 11 and the reduction in the amount of ink is displayed on a display board or informed by alarm sound.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the rapid attainment of a prescribed printing density when transfer is made to a regular printing process after a forming process, by a method wherein the thickness of an ink film on a form roller or a plate cylinder is detected by a sensor to control the quantity of ink scraped by an ink scraping device so that the thickness of the ink film be the form reference thickness of the ink film in the forming process and that the thickness of the ink film be the printing reference thickness of the ink film in the regular printing process. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric sensor 31 for detecting the thickness of an ink film on a plate cylinder 3 or a form roller 7a just after transfer is made from the form roller 7a is fitted at a prescribed position of the main body of a printer, and an ink film thickness detection signal therefrom is inputted to a microprocessor. A construction is made so that an amount of intrusion of a doctor blade 7b, in other words, the thickness of the ink film on the form roller 7a, is adjusted on the basis of an instruction delivered from the microprocessor.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus in which excellent accuracy of the adjustment of the inclination and the positioning of a substrate in nozzle coating is attained, tact time is shortened by positioning the substrate to a nozzle with reduced actions and the change to a substrate having a different size is also facilitated. SOLUTION: The coating apparatus for applying paste on a groove on the substrate by discharging the paste in the nozzle from a discharge port onto the substrate and at the same time, relatively moving the nozzle and the substrate to each other has a 1st means for detecting the position of the substrate, a 2nd means for detecting the position of the reference groove of the substrate and a 3rd means for detecting the position of the reference hole of the nozzle. The inclination angle of the substrate is adjusted based on the substrate position information obtained by the 1st means and the substrate is positioned to the prescribed position and the position of the substrate and the nozzle is relatively positioned to each other based on the position information of the reference groove of the substrate which is obtained by the 2nd means and the position information of the reference hole of the nozzle which is obtained by the 3rd means. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manufacturing device and method of a light emitting substrate for a plasma display capable of uniforming a coating pattern for each color, preventing low spot or the like of coating liquid, and certainly applying paste only to a predetermined recessed part, in applying three colors R, G and B of phosphor pastes. SOLUTION: An applying device of the coating liquid comprises a coated matrix 1 that faces a nozzle hole and has a plurality of rows of stripe like recessed parts coated with the coating liquid discharged from the nozzle hole, and a first moving means 13 for relatively moving coating heads and/or the coated matrix in the coating direction. The coating heads are disposed in the coating direction for respective three colors R, G and B of phosphor paste coating liquids. These manufacturing device and method of the light emitting substrate for the plasma display comprise a control means for controlling a relative moving speed in the coating direction of each coating head or the coated matrix and a second movement control means 14 for changing a clearance between each coating head and the coated matrix.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a recording start position with high accuracy by finely dividing a printing position signal and preliminarily writing the blank data corresponding to the delay quantity of the recording start position in printing data. SOLUTION: Printing data is read from a first RAM 13 to be outputted to a P/S converter circuit 14. In parallel to this, the clock signal synchronous to ink droplet forming timing is outputted to the circuit 14 and a counter circuit 17. At this time, the blank data corresponding to the delay quantity of a printing start position is preliminarily written. Next, a second RAM 16 outputs charge data and a printing signal to a D/A converter circuit 18 on the basis of the printing signal from a shift register 15 and the base address signal from the count circuit 17. The D/A converter circuit 18 converts these signals to analogue voltages to output them to an amplifier 19. The amplifier 19 amplifies the charge data and the analogue voltage related to the printing signal to output them to a charge electrode to start the printing to a recording medium.
