Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve mechanical characteristics by molding a glass fiber and a polyimide resin as raw materials at a specified incorporation ratio. CONSTITUTION:A glass fiber-reinforced nylon resin pellet wherein a glass fiber is sealed in parallel in the longitudinal direction of a pellet with a length of 5mm or larger is obtd. A nylon resin pellet wherein at least 50wt.% this pellet are incorporated is injection-molded to form a wheel by using a fiber-reinforced resin wherein the fiber length of 50wt.% or more glass fiber in the molded item is 0.5mm or longer. e.g. a bath wherein nylon 6 is melted is formed and a glass fiber bundle treated with a coupling agent and a greige good is passed through this bath at a speed or 5m/min. The passed grass fiber bundle is taken up through a nozzle with a diameter of 3mm and after the resin is cooled, it is cut into 10mm. A wheel is injection-molded by using this pellet.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having excellent mold-releasability and injection molding stability without deteriorating heat-resistance of the base resin, by compounding a specific polyaminobismaleimide with specific amounts of glass fiber and a phenolic novolac resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by compounding (A) 40-95pts.(wt.) of a resin component produced by polymerizing (A1) an unsaturated N,N'-bismaleimide of formula I (D is bivalent group containing C=C group; R is >=1C bivalent organic group) and (A2) a diamine of formula II (R is >=2C bivalent organic group) at a molar ratio of 1-3, preferably 1.2-2.5 with (B) 60-5pts., preferably 50-20pts. of glass fiber having number-average fiber length of 0.05-6mm and diameter of 6-20mum and (C) 2-30pts., preferably 3-10pts. of a phenolic novolac resin component.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a cylinder head cover having excellent impact resistance and producing no creep by injecting and molding glass fiber reinforced polyamide resin pellet having glass fibers arranged lengthwise of the pellet, and keeping the length of the glass fiber in a molding at a specified length. CONSTITUTION:A glass fiber reinforced nylon resin pellet has 5mm or more of length and glass fibers enclosed in parallel lengthwise thereof. Nylon resin composition including at least 50wt.% of the pellet is injection molded to provide a cylinder head cover having at least 50wt.% and at least 0.5mm length of the glass fiber in the molding. Then, the glass fiber and polyamide resin are used for the blank, and the glass fiber is preferably of 6-20mu of diameter and processed by a coupling agent and converging agent generally used so that the bundle-like one is used. Thus, the sufficiently light cylinder head cover is obtained which has a stable property in use like a cylinder head cover having iron as main material.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture a molded product of superior molding properties and dynamic physical properties by providing a thermoplastic resin skin body section formed with its core section integrally on the outer periphery of the core section containing thermoplastic resin and reinforced fiber. CONSTITUTION:Usually same kind of thermoplastic resins are selected and used for a core section and a skin body section. Reinforced fiber in the core section is preferably arranged and juxtaposed respectively in the length direction of core section, and its average length is in the range of 5-15mm when being juxtaposed in the length direction of core section. The skin body section is formed integrally with the outer periphery of core section, and its average thickness is preferably in the range of 0.1-0.5mm. The content of reinforced fiber in pellets is preferably in the range of 30-55wt.%, and the average diameter of pellets is preferably in the range of 2-5mm. Said pellets are melted and injection molded to manufacture a fiber reinforced resin molded product.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to simply measure the generation of efflorescence in a short time by using alcohol containing water solution of pH indicator exhibiting alkalinity. SOLUTION: The lower 1/2 part of a cement product in thickness direction is dipped, for example, in water to absorb water. The absorbed water is gradually moved to a surface layer which is not dipped in water. At this time, the alkali component in the product is moved to the surface layer with the absorbed water. When it is coated with a pH indicator having a color change area to the alkaline side to the alkali component such as pH indicator of thymol blue or phenol red, the color is exhibited in the color change area in response to the pH. The generation of efflorescence is predicted according to the degree of the coloring. Accordingly, the time up to a predetermined coloring area is measured to predict the easiness of generating the efflorescence in a short time.
