SOLUTION: In an execution process for spraying particles on the surface of an article to be processed in spray coating with a gun to form a film, an input means 1 for inputting distribution data of a flight locus of actually bonded particles, a first calculation means 2 for calculating the locus of imaginarily generated particles on the basis of the distribution data inputted from the input means, a second calculation means 3 for estimating an adhesion amount of particles on the basis of a geometrical relation between the locus of individual imaginary particles calculated by the first calculation means and the surface of the article to be processed and an output means 6 for estimating the thickness and quality of the film on the basis of the adhesion amount calculated by the second calculation means to output the same are provided.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To block counter diffusion between an M-Cr-Al-Y alloy layer as a coating layer and a heat resistant alloy substrate, especially the diffusion of Al from the coating layer into the substrate and to maintain high-temp. strength, corrosion and oxidation resistances over a long time by regulating the concn. of Al in the coating layer at the time of coating the surface of the substrate with the layer. CONSTITUTION:When the surface of a substrate made of an alloy based on at least one of Fe-Ni and Co is coated with an M-Cr-Al-Y alloy layer, the concn. of Al in the alloy layer is regulated to the range of + or -0.5wt.% of the concn. of Al in the matrix phase of the substrate. The reduction of high-temp. strength due to the diffusion of Al from the coating layer into the alloy substrate can be prevented and the formation of pores in the coating layer can be inhibited in the case where an Al enriched layer is further formed on the coating layer to compensate the depletion of the corrosion resistant element due to counter diffusion between the substrate and the coating layer and surface oxidation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the elemental diffusion between a matrix and a thermal insulation layer or between different kinds of thermal insulation layers at a high temp. while good adhesion thereof to the matrix and its oxidation resistance are maintained and to suppress deterioration in its characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a matrix 1 constituted of a heat resistant alloy or the like is applied with an intermediate layer 2 constituted of ceramics including at least one kind of glass forming oxides, concretely, of P2O5, B2O3 or the like. On the surface, thermal insulation layers such as a heat resistant metallic layer 3 constituted of an Ni-Co-Cr-Al-Y allay or the like and a ceramics external layer 4 constituted of zirconia, alumina or the like are laminately formed. By the intermediate layer 2, the elemental diffusion from the thermal insulation layer 3 into the matrix 1 is suppressed, and thermal stress between the layers or the like can be relaxed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the ghost elimination factor by slowing down the response of a phase detection circuit at the operation of the ghost clean system and at the reception in a weak electric field. CONSTITUTION:When the ghost clean system is functioned, an H level ghost clean system operating signal is inputted to a control terminal 19 of a switch 52 via an input terminal 20, the switch S2 is turned on and a capacitor C4 is connected in parallel with a capacitor C3. Thus, a time constant of an APC filter 18 is increased and the response of a phase detection circuit 4 slows down. On the other hand, when an H level channel selection signal is fed to a base of a transistor(TR) Q at channel selection, the TR Q is turned on, the switch 52 is turned off, the time constant of the APC filter 18 is decreased comparatively and the response of the phase detection circuit 4 is quickened. Thus, the elimination factor of a ghost signal is increased.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a catalyst carrier excellent in thermal impact resistance, durability and high temperature strength by providing the catalyst carrier with a fire resisting metal fiber in a superalloy substrate composed of iron, cobalt or nickel base. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst carrier for cleaning up exhaust gases from a burner, vehicle, etc., consists of the heat resisting composite of the superalloy substrate composed of iron, cobalt or nickel base represented by MCrAlX (wherein M is Fe, Co and Ni or its alloy and X is an oxide fixing element such as Zr and Y) and a fire resisting metal fiber such as tungsten alloy provided therein. The use of such heat resisting composite wherein the high temperature strength of the superalloy is enhanced by the aforesaid fire resisting metal fiber imparts to the carrier a sufficient high temperature strength withstanding high service temperatures as high as not less than 1000 deg.C and also the heat resisting composite including such metal group imparts thereto excellent thermal impact resisting characteristics even if it is subjected to the repetitive thermal loads of alternately a high and normal temperature.

CONSTITUTION:The surface of the fireproof metallic fiber is coated with Nb (alloy) by the means of plasma thermal spraying, etc., in the atmosphere of a low pressure inert gas to unify into a heat-resistant composite matrix having the shape of a sheet. The above matrix is sandwiched by Al (alloy) sheets into a laminated body and is thereafter heated to the melting point or above of the Al (alloy) in the atmosphere of an inert gas to unify, by which W wire strengthened Nb heat-resistant composite material is manufactured in bulk. Al among each layer is brought into reaction with Nb to form Nb3Al and Al3Nb and to change into a material having high melting point, so that the strength and stability at high temp. can be obtd.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a W-wire reinforced composite material exhibiting excellent mechanical properties at a high temp. by forming a coating consisting of Cr or Al onto the surface of W wires, then compounding and uniting the same with a matrix material consisting of a superalloy. CONSTITUTION:The coating consisting of at least either of Cr or Al is formed on the surface of the W wires having 0.05-0.5mm diameter. The adequate thickness of the above-mentioned coating is 1-50mum, and the coating is formable by an electroplating method, vapor deposition, etc. The coated W wires are compounded and united with the matrix material. An FeCrAlY alloy is adequate as the above-mentioned matrix material. The composition with the above- mentioned W alloys is preferably executed by depositing the matrix material on the W wires by thermal spraying, vapor depositing, plating, etc. The inter- diffusion of the W wires and the alloy is thereby obviated even after long-period use at a high temp. of about >=1,200 deg.C and the W-wire reinforced composite material with which the mechanical strength of the W wires lasts long is obtd.
