Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the multiple composition having excellent suitability for coating and penetrability and capable of improving the resistance to wear and corrosion of leather, fabrics, building materials, etc., when applied by incorporating thermoplastic high-molecular-weight saturated polyester, solvent, and ceramic particle into the composition. CONSTITUTION:Globular alumina particle is added to the soln. contg. saturated polyester and the mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone and toluene, and the mixture is agitated and mixed by a ball mill to obtain a ceramic multiple composition. The mixed solvent and polyurethane are added to the composition, and the mixture is agitated and mixed by the ball mill. The composition is applied on and infiltrated into the patch on the toe of an oxide baseball spike shoe, etc. The composition has excellent suitability for coating and penetrability, and applied on and infiltrated into leather, paper, fiber bundle, fabrics, nonwoven fabrics, wood, plywood, porous plastics, porous ceramics, concrete, etc., to improve their characteristics such as wear resistance, hardness, heat resistance, fire resistance, corrosion resistance, weatherability, and heat insulating property.
