    Abstract: A process for the production of a polyimide film having an increased adhesiveness which includes the steps of: evenly coating a surface treating solution which contains a heat-resistant surface treating agent of aminosilane type, epoxysilane type or titanate type in an amount not less than 0.5 wt. % on a surface of a solid film comprising an aromatic polymer composition which contains 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polyamioc acid and 5-150 parts by weight of an organic polar solvent and heating the solid film having the coated surface treating solution at a temperature of 100 DEG -600 DEG C., to imidize the polyamic acid constituting the solid film as well as to dry the film.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic composite for which the primer treatment is not necessary on the surface of metallic material plate, by composing it of an adhesive layer composed of a composition containing a polyamide adhesive at a specified ratio and a metallic material plate laid adhesively on both sides thereof. CONSTITUTION:It is necessary for an adhesive layer to mix 100pts.wt. of polyamide resin, 2-50pts.wt. of ethylene propylene rubber and/or ionomer and aminosilane compound in the proportion of 0.1-5wt.% of total resin component. Then, a specified quantity of each component thereof is dryblended and molded into the form of film sheet, filament or grains by heating by use of an extruder. Steel plate, finished steel plate, aluminum plate etc. can be used as the metallic material plate, any special treatment for giving an adhesion property, except the degreasing treatment usually applied to such adhesion, is not necessary, and a metallic composite material can be obtained by using a hot-melt polyamide adhesive.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a film having remarkably improved adhesivity to a copper foil with an epoxy resin adhesive, by treating a surface of a film of a solvent- containing aromatic polyimide precursor with a specific heat-resistant surface- treating agent. CONSTITUTION:A surface-treating liquid containing >=0.5wt%, especially 1.0-60% heat-resistant surface treating agent of aminosilane-type, epoxysilane- type or titanate-type (e.g. N-phenyl-gamma-aminopropyl-triethoxysilane) and having a water-content of =60mol% biphenyltetracarboxylic acid (dianhydride) and (ii) nearly equimolar amount of an aromatic diamine component containing >=50mol% phenylenediamine compound and (B) 5-150pts.wt. of a polar organic solvent. The applied liquid is heated at 100-600 deg.C to imidate the polyamic acid constituting the solidified film and, at the same time, the film is subjected to drying and heat-treatment.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the heat resistant polishing ability at a high temperature, durability and chemical resistance of a polishing sheet, by holding abrasive grain dispersed uniformly in the polishing sheet, with the use of a biphenyl teta carbonic acid group aromatic polyimide. CONSTITUTION:Abrasive grain having an averaged particle size of about 0.1-50mum is uniformly dispersed in a solvent of organic polarity. An aromatic diamine component and an aromatic tetra carbon acid component are added while both components allowed to act upon each other at a temperature of 0-80 deg.C for 0.5-50hr to create aromatic polyamic acid so that the solution of aromatic polyamic acid in which the abrasive grain is dispersed is adjusted and prepared. Further, a liquid film is formed from the above-mentioned solution, and finally this liquid film is dried and solidified while aromatic polyamic is changed into the form of polyimide (imidizing), thereby it is possible to obtain a desired polishing sheet.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous length of a rack gear having teeth of high strength of long size, by introducing melted resin extruded from the die of an extuder between a wedge like die and a pattern roll provided neigh-boring thereof and cooling, solidifying on the pattern roll, thereafter passing through a correction roll. CONSTITUTION:Resin extruded from a passage 9 of a die 8 is introduced between a declined face 10a inside a wedge like die 10 and a pattern roll 12, receives pressure from both and it is forced into the inside of a notch part formed in a peripheral face of the pattern roll 12, cooled, solidified and taken out as a molded product 13. After the molded product 13 sent out from the pattern roll 12 is made straight by warping it to a reverse side by passing through a correction roll 15, a straight and continuous length rack 1 is continuously manufactured by slitting a flash remaining on the sides of the molded product 13 by a slitting device 14.
