Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid carrying device and its method to move a flexible object without needing any physical contact. SOLUTION: A valve housing 12 has an opening plate 18 for deciding an opening 16 and a plate 20 opposite thereto which is separately arranged on the opening plate, a flexible film 30 is fitted to the opening plate 18 at a first end part, and fitted to the opposite plate 20 at a second end part. At least two switch electrodes to move the flexible film 30 between the opening block position and the opening open position are provided, at least one of the switch electrodes is arranged adjacent to the opening plate 18, and at least one switch electrode is arranged adjacent to the opposite plate. At least two catches to reduce the non-switching movement of the flexible film 30 are provided, and at least one of the catches is arranged adjacent to the opening plate 18 and at least one of the catches is arranged adjacent to the opposite plate 20.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head capable of high quality and high speed print ing. SOLUTION: There is disclosed a print head 34 used in a printer. In the print head 34, a propelling medium flows in a fluid passage toward a printing medium 38 and a printing material such as ink or toner is controlled to be introduced into the propelling medium flow such that sufficient energy for moving to the printing medium 38 is supplied to the them. A plurality of fluid passages for directing the propelling medium flow and printing material enable high quality and high resolution printing. The plurality of printing materials are introduced into the passage to be mixed in the fluid passage before printing on the printing medium 38. The printing materials are mixed and superposed on the printing medium 38 without executing aligning of a registor. One embodiment of a full-color printer having a single fluid passage is disclosed.
