Abstract:
A printing apparatus includes a guide member for directing sheets toward a transfer zone. The guide member defines a set of ribs which hold the sheets above the main surface of the guide member. Thus, any stray marking material which lands on the guide member is relatively unlikely to contact a sheet moving over the guide member.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the disappearance and overflow loss of toner at the time of refilling the toner into a toner hopper of a toner image generating machine. SOLUTION: A first end of a toner housing chamber 106 of a cylindrical shape in which the toner is housed is sealed by a sealing disk 108 and a second end is sealed by a rupturable thin film 110. The second end side is connected to a toner hopper and a piston 120 is pushed in from the first end side. The pressure Pf exerted from a piston ruptures the rupturable thin film through the toner and the toner is fed from there into the hopper. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the print quality of a form sending-in guide in a transfer area from deteriorating. SOLUTION: A printer is equipped with an electric charge receptor such as a photoreceptor 10, a transfer corotron 14 which determines the transfer area associated with the electric charge receptor, and a peeling corotron 16 and further a guide member 18 which sends a sheet in the transfer area is provided in the transfer area. The guide member 18 has a plurality of ribs (30) supports the sheet in the transfer area so that it moves in a processing direction (in the moving path direction of the sheet). A 1st group of ribs (30) is set to a direction oblique to the processing direction and a 2nd group of ribs is set to a 2nd direction oblique to the processing direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce internal marking engine sensors and to adjust marking engine controlling on the other hand. SOLUTION: A test image is specified in advance, and a first presented version for the test image is printed on a printing medium by a first marking engine of a plurality of the marking engines. A first computer-readable expression of the first presented version for the test image is formed by an image inputting apparatus. A second presented version for the test image is printed on the printing medium by a second marking engine of a plurality of the marking engines. A second computer-readable expression of the second presented version for the test image is formed by the image inputting apparatus. A method includes a step determining coordination information of the image from the first and second computer-readable expressions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
