Abstract: A device for aiding a human joint, the device including a booster mechanism including a two part housing, a first part of the housing having a first end adapted for coupling adjacent one side of the joint and a second part of the housing having a second end adapted for coupling adjacent a second side of the joint, one part of the housing being movable relative to the other part of the housing, a spring mounted between the first part of the housing and the second part of the housing, a locking mechanism in the housing for releasably locking the spring when the spring is in a loaded state, and a release element engaging the locking mechanism for unlocking and releasing the loaded spring to boost the first end of the housing away from the second end of the housing.

Abstract: A device for the therapeutic treatment and/or training of the lower extremities of a human has independent driven and controlled movement devices which are connected to a stationary frame. Each of the movement devices include foot plates that are moved independently of one another along walking trajectories. Each movement device has a pivot arm pivotable into different elevations where the pivot arm is rotatably connected to a single sled on a linear track. A first rotational drive is attached to the sled and is connected to the pivot arm for changing the elevation of the respective holding member. A second rotational drive changes the inclination of the foot plate and the sled is connected to a linear drive for changing the longitudinal position of the foot plate.

Abstract: A driving device includes a wearable mechanism that is worn on a wearing part, an actuator that drives the wearable mechanism, and first and second force sensors that are provided on the wearable mechanism and detect a force. The first and second force sensors are provided at positions at which a first detected value obtained from the first force sensor and a second detected value obtained from the second force sensor are changed in response to a motion of the wearing part. When a difference between the first and second detected values is less than a pre-decided first threshold value and the first or second detected value is greater than a pre-decided second threshold value, the actuator drives the wearable mechanism so that the second detected value is constant.

Abstract: A hip traction device, system, and associated methods are disclosed. Such a device may include a base having a proximal end and a distal end, a guide coupled to the base, a carrier configured to move along the guide upon receiving a force from a tensioner to move the carrier toward the distal end of the base, causing a leg to be put in tension, and a single body coupling mechanism either removably attachable or permanently attached to the carrier and configured to securely attach to a lower portion of a leg, such that the portion of the leg moves with the carrier during operation of the tensioner.

Common casing substantially completely surrounds the unit including the padding element and the supporting device together with the adjusting device. A charging/discharging device is provided for pressure loading/pressure relief of padding element, and loading/relief device is in the common casing.

Abstract: Handheld sexual appliances are disclosed herein, providing improved stimulators for stimulation of the Grafenberg area or G-spot of the female. The appliances generally comprise an elongate body having embodiments for stimulating the Grafenberg area comprising one or more of a mechanical finger that oscillates in an ovoid motion protruding from the dorsal surface of the elongated body. In some embodiments, one or more stimulators simulates a range of motion of the back-and-forth movement of one or more human fingers. Thereby, the G-spot stimulating embodiments may directly impinge upon the Grafenberg area when inserted into the vagina, while the precise angle and force of that interaction can also be finely adjusted.

Abstract: A powered device augments a joint function of a human during a gait cycle using a powered actuator that supplies an augmentation torque, an impedance, or both to a joint, and a controller that modulates the augmentation torque, the impedance, and a joint equilibrium according to a phase of the gait cycle to provide at least a biomimetic response. Accordingly, the device is capable of normalizing or augmenting human biomechanical function, responsive to a wearer's activity, regardless of speed and terrain.
