Abstract: In an endoscope system, an imaging device is electrically connected to a signal line and is configured to output a video signal to the signal line. A receiver circuit is electrically connected to the signal line and is configured to receive the video signal. A noise detection circuit is configured to detect that noise having a higher frequency than a frequency of the video signal is mixed into the video signal. A filter circuit has a function of reducing the noise included in the video signal. An imaging control circuit is configured to set a signal-output time per one pixel of the imaging device to a second set time longer than a first set time and a filter control circuit is configured to turn on the function of the filter circuit when the noise is detected by the noise detection circuit.

Abstract: A shape estimation device includes an input circuit, a storage circuit and an arithmetic circuit. The input circuit receives light amount information being a relationship between a wavelength and a light amount. The light amount information is acquired by using a sensor configured such that the light amount to be detected with respect to the wavelength corresponding to each of sensing parts varies in accordance with a shape of each of the sensing parts. The storage circuit stores a relationship among the shape, the wavelength and the light amount with respect to each sensing part. The arithmetic circuit calculates the shape of each sensing part, based on the light amount information, and a light amount estimation value being a relationship between the wavelength and the light amount.

Abstract: A color filter has a transmission band in a visible region and an infrared region. A first substrate is arranged below the color filter and has a first photoelectric conversion element which outputs a first signal charge according to an amount of exposure of a light passing through the color filter. A second substrate has a second photoelectric conversion element outputting a second signal charge according to an amount of exposure of a light, having sensitivity in at least the infrared region, which passes through the first substrate, and is arranged on a surface on an opposite side to a light-receiving surface of the first substrate. A signal read-out circuit reads out the first signal charge as a first electrical signal, and reads out the second signal charge as a second electrical signal.

Abstract: An endoscope system has a light source, an imaging device, and an operation device. The imaging device has a first substrate, a second substrate, and an optical filter. The optical filter is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and allows only light having a predetermined wavelength band to pass the therethrough. In all wavelengths included in the predetermined wavelength band, a light absorption coefficient of oxidized hemoglobin is larger than a light absorption coefficient of reduced hemoglobin or the light absorption coefficient of the oxidized hemoglobin is smaller than the light absorption coefficient of the reduced hemoglobin. The operation device calculates an oxygen saturation on the basis of a first pixel signal generated in the first substrate and a second pixel signal generated in the second substrate.

Abstract: A solid-state imaging device includes: a first substrate having first photoelectric converters; a second substrate having second photoelectric converters and laminated on the first substrate; micro lenses disposed on an opposite face facing an imaging lens among faces of the second substrate and which forms an image of light passing through the imaging lens; and a light shielding layer disposed between the first and second photoelectric converters. Abstract: An imaging device includes a light splitting unit which splits first light from a subject into second light and third light, first and second imaging units, and an arithmetic unit. The first light includes the second light having infrared light and at least one of green light and blue light, and the third light having red light or the green light. The first imaging unit includes a first and a second light reception regions. The first light reception region generates at least one of the group consisting of a B signal according to the blue light and a G signal according to the green light. The second light reception region generates an IR signal according to the infrared light. The arithmetic unit generates a visible light image signal from the R signal, the G signal, and the B signal and generates an infrared light image signal from the IR signal.
