Abstract:
A method for controlling a pneumatic glove includes: S1, regulating an air pressure of a pneumatic glove to enable the pneumatic glove to be in a natural flexion state, and obtaining a current air pressure value of the pneumatic glove, detected by an air pressure detection unit at a current moment, as an initial air pressure; S2, setting an air pressure threshold according to the initial air pressure; adjusting an internal air path of the pneumatic gloves to a closed air path, and when the pneumatic glove is worn on a hand of a patient, obtaining the current air pressure of the pneumatic glove detected by the air pressure detection unit, and determining an expected movement trend of the hand of the patient according to the current air pressure and air pressure threshold; S3, regulating the air pressure in the pneumatic glove according to the expected movement trend.
Abstract:
An improved condom-style vacuum therapy device has a region of the sheath formed of an air-permeable material that is covered by an air-impermeable barrier so as to define a lumen therebetween. A conduit defining an airflow pathway is located in fluid communication with the lumen, and is connected to a vacuum source in order to draw air out of the interior of the condom-style device through the air-permeable region. When the condom-style device is worn over the penis, a sealing element proximate to the open end serves to at least partially restrict the intrusion of ambient air into the condom. As a result, the air pressure within the sheath of the condom is reduced to below ambient air pressure, serving to prevent or treat actual or potential erectile disfunction and/or to enhance sexual performance, while also providing the prophylactic and/or contraceptive benefits associated with condom use.
Abstract:
A negative pressure massage apparatus includes a vacuum pump, two solenoid valves and a control board. The vacuum pump is used to generate a negative pressure outside the negative pressure massage apparatus. Two solenoid valves are used to control a gas flow input into the negative pressure massage apparatus. The control board is used to activate or stop at least one of the vacuum pumps, and the two solenoid valves. The present disclosure further includes a method of using the negative pressure massage apparatus.
Abstract:
A head mounted display (HMD) device including a display; a communication processor configured to communicate with a massage chair performing a massage; a sensor configured to acquire data about movement of the HMD device during the massage; and a controller configured to display an image on the display corresponding to a specific region of an entire image, and maintain displaying the image corresponding to the specific region when the acquired data indicates the HMD device is moved.
Abstract:
The transfer assistance device includes a bogie, an arm tiltably supported by the bogie, a holding part that is supported by the arm and holds a torso of a person being assisted. The holding part includes at least a low pressure cell group and a high pressure cell group configured to respectively face different parts of a front surface of the torso of the person being assisted. The transfer assistance device further includes air pressure adjuster configured to individually adjust air pressure of the low pressure cell group and air pressure of the high pressure cell group.
Abstract:
A massage unit includes a treatment member; an arm that supports the treatment member; a drive shaft that supports the arm and causes the treatment member to approach and be separated with respect to a treatment target site; a movable portion that causes the treatment member to be operable in a direction of being separated from the treatment target site when the treatment member comes into contact with the treatment target site by a force equal to or greater than predetermined strength; and biasing means for biasing the treatment member in an approaching direction.
Abstract:
Various embodiments provide assemblies for manipulating a user's limb with at least one inflatable member. The assemblies comprise a first pliable planar member and a second pliable planar member overlaid atop at least a portion of the first pliable planar member, such that a two ply configuration is provided. The two ply configuration itself comprises at least a distal and a proximal portion and at least one opening configured to accept at least a portion of the user's limb. The first and second pliable planar members combine to define at least one inflatable member, the inflatable member being at least a portion of at least one of the distal and proximal portions, the inflatable member being configured to be selectively inflatable so as to provide at least one inflation force upon the user's limb, such that the joint in the user's limb is manipulated. Associated methods are also provided.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a frequency generator to generate an electrical signal. The apparatus also includes an acoustic transducer operably coupled to the frequency generator. The acoustic transducer converts the electrical signal into a first acoustic signal. The apparatus also includes an applicator operably coupled to the acoustic transducer. The applicator includes an acoustic generator to generate a second acoustic signal based on the first acoustic signal. The applicator also includes an applicator interface configured to apply the second acoustic signal to a patient.
Abstract:
Methods to provide customized skin care by using specimen dispensing device to dispense specimens from removable dispensers for the purpose of treating skin of a user are presented. Methods to utilize the embedded memory and electrical interface of the dispensing device and dispensers to produce customizable skin care products that give better skin treatment results are also presented. The invention may also be applied to health care and personal care needs.
