Abstract:
A tub comprising a body for holding a volume of water. A tub system is coupled to the body to perform a function on the volume of water. At least a first circuit has a first circuit portion comprising at least one resistive switch mounted to a visible surface of the body and comprising at least a first resistive element adapted to be contacted by a bather, second circuit portion comprising a water detection sensor mounted to the body for containing liquid in the body above a given level, the first circuit being open between the first resistive element and the water detection sensor, an actuating closed circuit condition by which a bather in liquid above the given level closes the first circuit between the first circuit portion and the second circuit portion when touching the first resistive element. A controller is operationally coupled to first circuit portion and the second circuit portion of the first circuit, and to the tub system, the controller adapted to detect the actuating closed circuit condition to trigger an action of the tub system.
Abstract:
A massager includes a massager head with a capacitive sensor. A controller uses the capacitive sensor to sense capacitance changes that indicate a human body is in close proximity or in contact with the massager head. Responsive to activating the capacitive sensor, the controller activates a massager motor in the massager head. When a human body is sensed, the controller increases the vibrations caused by the massager motor from a starting speed to a final speed through a period of time. When the capacitive sensor no longer senses a body, the massager motor is slowed down and may be stopped.
Abstract:
A light emitting module and massage device provide vaginal rejuvenation. The device exposes collagen in the vaginal area or mucosa to temperatures elevated over normal body temperature to cause the collagen to reversibly or irreversibly denature while simultaneously applying vibration. Once thermally-induced collagen denaturation has occurred, both neoelastogenesis and neocollagenesis may occur and may be initiated with fibroblast proliferation, which may be promoted with vibration. Neofibrogenesis also occurs due to the fibroblastic activity, responsible for secretion of new collagen matrix to effect tissue repair. Thus, the device exploits thermally-induced collagen denaturation and repair along with simultaneous vibration to improve tissue tone, connective tissue tension and bulk tissue regeneration.

The human exoskeleton further includes a power disconnect mechanism electronically connected to the controller and configured to disconnect power between the exoskeleton and the battery when activated, the power disconnect mechanism physically in contact with a wearer of the human exoskeleton.
Abstract:
A flexible vibrating mat for soothing a child includes a plurality of electric vibratory motors and a plurality of cylindrical motor casings. Each motor casing is associated with a single electric vibratory motor and is generally the same size as the associated electric vibratory motor. The mat additionally includes a controller. The controller is configured to selectively electrically couple the plurality of electric vibratory motors to an electric power supply. The mat further includes a flexible core coupled with the plurality of motor casings and a water-resistant cover covering the core, the plurality of motor casings, and the controller.
Abstract:
Provided is a pushcart that can automatically change a yaw rotation range. A first main wheel (11A) and a second main wheel (11B) are respectively driven and controlled so that a change of angle in a yaw direction falls within a range of given target values (a first target value and a second target value). In the case where a yaw angular velocity ω is determined to be in a range from −α to α, a control unit (21) controls the first main wheel (11A) and the second main wheel (11B) so that the yaw angular velocity ω becomes 0, and corrects the yaw angular velocity to 0 (or a value near 0). Accordingly, the yaw angular velocity ω falls within the range from the first target value to the second target value (−α to α).
Abstract:
There is provided a phototherapy apparatus, in which the therapeutic light is delivered through or in proximity to one or more massage components. The massage component provides mechanical massage to the subject biological tissue and modifies the properties of the subject tissue in thickness, density, etc. to facilitate the absorption of the therapeutic light and enhance the effect of the phototherapy procedure.
Abstract:
A manually propelled vehicle includes a vehicle body, a wheel for moving the vehicle body, a grip attached to the vehicle body, a grip sensor that detects a pressure applied to the grip, a grip state detector that detects a grip state of the grip based on information acquired from the grip sensor, and a wheel driver that drives the wheel when the grip state detector detects a predetermined grip state.
Abstract:
A lower extremity orthotic control system determines a movement desired by a user, particularly with a user employing gestures or other signals to convey or express their intent to the system, and automatically regulates the sequential operation of powered lower extremity orthotic components. In a particular application, the orientation of a stance leg is used to determine when the user wants to initiate a step, as well as when the user is in a safe position from which to take a step. The invention has particular applicability for use in enabling a paraplegic user to walk through a controlled operation of a human exoskeleton coupled to the user's lower limbs. A controller receives inputs regarding a motion desired by the user, determines the desired motion and then controls the movement of the user's legs or limbs through actuation of the exoskeleton.
Abstract:
A touch-to-activate structure for make-up pen with function of vibration massage receives and contains therein a liquid and includes a container body, a base, a vibration device, a shielding lid, a cover, a leakage prevention valve, a contact massage lid, and a hold-down cap. The shielding lid possesses elasticity blocks external moisture, and supports the vibration device to provide a waterproof effect. The vibration device includes a spring conductor. The container body, the base, the shielding lid, and the cover are in communication with each other and the leakage prevention valve that has a valve hole is movably mounted in an opening of the cover, whereby when the contact massage lid is touched and pressed down, the leakage prevention valve is moved to press and push the spring conductor so as to automatically activate a vibration function of the vibration device and also to have the valve hole shielded.
