A first pressure generating chamber, which is sealed by a first elastic plate mounted with a first piezoelectric element at one surface, and a second pressure generating chamber, which is sealed by a second elastic plate mounted with a second piezoelectric element at one surface are formed in a casing. The second pressure generating chamber is formed with an opening which is a discharge port. A mixture is discharged from the discharge port. A nozzle formed with an opening jets gas toward a substrate surface, and is provided in the vicinity of the discharge port of the ink head.

Provided is a gas wiping device having a box-shaped body which encloses a steel band and gas wiping nozzles, wherein it is possible to prevent splash on the steel band. A gas wiping device provided with a plating bath for storing molten metal, and a box-shaped body placed above the plating bath. The box-shaped body is provided, in the interior, with tubular members disposed along the width direction of a band-shaped body, gas wiping nozzles disposed facing one another on the respective tubular members so as to sandwich the band-shaped body, extending members disposed on both ends of gas wiping nozzle so as to extend towards the direction of gas wiping nozzle, and extending members disposed on both ends of gas wiping nozzle so as to extend towards the direction of gas wiping nozzle.

In an indirect process, acrylic adhesive is coated on a silicone liner. A soft rubber roller is employed between a reverse anilox cylinder and an anvil cylinder in a flexo print station to reduce shear hardening in the coating process and prevent or reduce shear hardening on the print rollers. Once the coated silicone liner passes the rollers, air knives are used to speed up the drying of the adhesive on the silicone liner before the coated liner is laminated to a face stock.

The second nozzle assembly includes a plurality of air inlets and an air outlet in communication with the air inlets. The second nozzle assembly is configured for spraying air with uniform air toward the liquid coating material applied on the substrate. The air inlets are aligned along a second imaginary straight line parallel with the first imaginary straight line.

A coating method of building board having convexoconcave in surface comprises the first process that coating is supplied and stocked in a tank installed above on a transportation line which transports the building board with making surface of the building board into the upper position, the second process which the building board is passed under the tank, and coating is flowed down like waterfall by weight of the coating from a drain hole which is installed in the lower end of the tank, and it coats the whole surface and the whole edge of building board with coating enough, wherein width of the drain hole in vertical direction to travelling direction of the building board is wider than width of the building board in vertical direction to travelling direction, and amount of coating to the surface of the building board is 1200-1800 g/m2.

A method and apparatus for controlling local flow along a slot jet with applications to airknives is disclosed. The airknife provides improved options for on-line control over coating thickness and edge build-up prevention. The gap of the slot nozzle of the airknife can remain constant while the outflow pattern is controlled by a series of preset throttle valves in combination with a single moving component, the multi-port aero-valve. This valve can be actuated locally or remotely, in rotation or translation, thereby changing gradually from a conventional uniform outflow to one which increases in velocity and mass flow rate along the airknife span to produce a bow effect. The valve can also change gradually from a conventional uniform outflow to one which increases in velocity, mass flow rate and outflow angle along the span to simulate bow effect in combination with fan-like outflow.

The present invention is directed to an apparatus for coating a surface of a 2-D or 3-D extrusion material, which comprises a rail unit installed on a base with an elastic member interposed therebetween to be elastically and vertically movable, thereby serving to isolate a coating surface and a non-coating surface from each other while elastically supporting the delivered 2-D or 3-D extrusion material; a coating unit for applying a certain amount of coating liquid to the specific coating surface of the extrusion material at random; and an air knife for blowing air at a constant pressure to the coating liquid applied onto the extrusion material and diffusing the coating liquid to apply the coating liquid at a uniform thickness on the coating surface of the extrusion material. Further, the present invention is also directed to a method for coating a surface of a 2-D or 3-D extrusion material, comprising the steps of applying a certain amount of a coating material to the specific surface of the 2-D or 3-D extrusion material at random; coating the surface of the extrusion material with the coating liquid at an uniform thickness by blowing air at a constant pressure to the coating liquid applied onto the extrusion material and diffusing the coating liquid, wherein the coating liquid is prevented from flowing in the non-coating surface by blowing air from the non-coating surface to the coating surface of the extrusion material; and curing the coating liquid by applying heat or irradiating ultraviolet rays to the coating liquid.
