Abstract:
A dual end liquid applicator including a reservoir handle having a first opening defined at a first end, a second opening defined at a second end opposing the first end, a first head member, and a second head member is provided. The reservoir handle defines an internal cavity for storing a dispensing liquid. The first head member is operably connected at the first opening at the first end of the reservoir handle. The second head member is operably connected at the second opening at the second end of the reservoir handle. The first head member and the second head member, when rolled over a contact surface, transfer and dispense the dispensing liquid from the internal cavity of the reservoir handle through the first opening at the first end of the reservoir handle and the second opening at the second end of the reservoir handle respectively, to the contact surface.
Abstract:
A semiconductor wafer electroless plating apparatus includes a platen and a fluid bowl. The platen has a top surface defined to support a wafer, and an outer surface extending downward from a periphery of the top surface to a lower surface of the platen. The fluid bowl has an inner volume defined by an interior surface so as to receive the platen, and wafer to be supported thereon, within the inner volume. A seal is disposed around the interior surface of the fluid bowl so as to form a liquid tight barrier when engaged between the interior surface of the fluid bowl and the outer surface of the platen. A number of fluid dispense nozzles are positioned to dispense electroplating solution within the fluid bowl above the seal so as to rise up and flow over the platen, thereby flowing over the wafer when present on the platen.
Abstract:
A method for producing a patterned steel plate by using roller-coating printing and screen printing, and a ground color pattern produced can be more accurate and a thicker and solider printing layer with a stronger stereo perception can also be obtained by using the roller-coating printing and screen printing, meanwhile in roller coating section, a servo control system is further included to control the rotate speed of each roller of the roller coating equipment and the preset time, thus ensuring that the actual roller surface linear velocity is consistent with the process rotation speed, so there is no need to stop the line for adjusting in the production process, thus increasing the production efficiency.
Abstract:
Moving an article after a material, such as a hot-melt adhesive, has been applied to a surface of the article is accomplished with an article transfer apparatus. The apparatus is comprised of a belt having a plurality of apertures extending there through that are effective to communicate a vacuum pressure from an inner surface of the belt to a contacting surface of the belt. The vacuum pressure secures and adheres the article to the contacting surface of the belt as the belt conveys the article. The vacuum pressure is distributed along the inner surface of the belt by a vacuum chamber, which is between a compression roller and a second roller.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an ink composition and a method for forming embossments using the ink composition. Accordingly, a process of removing a clear residue on the printed pattern in the related arts may be eliminated. In particular, the ink composition for improving formation of embossment may include: a silane-modified polyacrylate resin in an amount of about 10 to 40 wt %; a silicone-modified polyacrylate resin in an amount of about 50 to 80 wt %; a silicone oil-type additive in an amount of about 3 to 7 wt %; and a silicone oil compound-type additive in an amount of about 5 to 15 wt %. The ink composition has substantially reduced surface tension to provide excellent water-repellency and oil-repellency. As such, a clear paint may not be adhered to the printed pattern surface of the ink composition, but instead, the clear paint may be adhered to the non-printed surface, thereby forming an embossed pattern.
Abstract:
An artificial hair filament having a core/sheath structure is provided. The artificial hair filament has excellent antibacterial and antifungal effects since antibacterial and antifungal nanoparticles are included in the sheath structure of the artificial hair filament. Here, the antibacterial and antifungal effects can last for a long period of time. A contact-type drug-treating roller and an ultrasonic spraying machine can be used to provide the artificial hair filament with the antibacterial and antifungal effects. In the artificial hair filament, the sheath structure is formed so that the sheath structure occupies 5 to 20% of an entire filament diameter, thereby exhibiting desirable antibacterial and antifungal effects. Therefore, degradation of the antibacterial properties and antifungal properties with time can be prevented.

Abstract:
A method for treating a surface touched by people to reduce an amount of microbes transferred to people touching the surface, the method comprising the step of depositing a conformal coating onto the surface, the coating comprising an ablative layer, the ablative layer being formed of a material sufficiently soft or frangible such that the ablation layer is worn away in response to repeated human contact, said coating comprising a material that is hydrophobic when the conformal coating has cured.
Abstract:
An image recording method includes a process of applying an ink containing a pigment to a recording medium, and a process of applying a liquid composition containing organic acid to the recording medium in such a manner as to be at least partially overlapped with a region to which the ink is applied. The content (% by mass) of the organic acid in the liquid composition is 10% by mass or more based on the total amount of the liquid composition. The content (% by mass) of an organic solvent in the liquid composition is 5% by mass or more based on the total amount of the liquid composition. The content (% by mass) of an organic solvent having a hydroxyl group in the liquid composition is 4% by mass or less based on the total amount of the liquid composition.
Abstract:
The present invention relates a method of producing a data storage medium comprising the steps of: a) coating a layer comprising a polymer material onto at least a part of a template surface thereby to obtain a modified template surface; b) clamping the modified template surface produced in step (a) with a target surface thereby to obtain an assembly; and c) introducing a liquid to an environment of the assembly obtained in step (b) thereby to transfer the layer comprising the polymer material of the modified template surface onto at least an adjacent region on the target surface.
