Abstract: A communication method includes generating at a first node, a message of a predetermined message temporal length that indicates an input value to be encoded and transmitting, at the first node, a signal including a pulse train corresponding to the generated message. The signal including the pulse train includes two pulses that define start and end of the message, respectively, and further two pulses that define within the message, a first time interval calculated from the input value in accordance with a first function and a second time interval calculated from the input value in accordance with a second function, respectively.

Abstract: Provided are an anticancer agent, radiosensitizer, and food composition capable of enhancing the effects of radiation therapy. The present inventors discovered that tumors shrink significantly in comparison to an untreated group and the respective monotherapy groups when treatment by burdock fruit extract containing arctigenin and radiation therapy were used in combination on mice transplanted with human pancreatic cancer cells. The anticancer agent of the present invention is an anticancer agent containing arctigenin and/or arctiin as the active ingredient, to be used in combination with radiation therapy. The arctigenin and/or arctiin may be contained as burdock, burdock fruit, burdock sprout, or forsythia, or an extract extracted from these.

Abstract: An omnidirectional moving device is provided with a vehicle chassis, a vehicle body, a universal coupling, and an attitude stabilizing system. In the vehicle chassis, a plurality of wheels that are capable of moving omnidirectionally are provided. The vehicle body is mounted on the vehicle chassis. The universal coupling connects the vehicle chassis to the vehicle body, and the attitude of the vehicle body relative to the vehicle chassis can be changed via this universal coupling. The attitude stabilizing system causes the vehicle chassis to move in a direction that corresponds to a change in the attitude of the vehicle body, and maintains the attitude stability of the vehicle body.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electroconductive pattern 40, provided with: a lamination step for laminating an acid generation film 10 containing an acid proliferation agent and a photoacid generator on a polymer film 20 containing an electroconductive polymer formed on a substrate 21; a masking step for masking the top of the acid generation film 10; a light irradiation step for irradiating the laminate from the acid-generation-film 10 side; a doping step for doping the electroconductive polymer with an acid generated and proliferated in the acid generation film 10 by the light irradiation; and a releasing step for releasing the acid generation film 10 from the polymer film 20. This method makes it possible to provide an electroconductive film and a method for manufacturing an electroconductive pattern in which photoacid generation and acid proliferation effects are utilized.

Abstract: A hydrogen storage cartridge small and lightweight allows storage and discharge of hydrogen at low pressure and normal temperature. It also can effectively absorb the volume expansion accompanying atomization of a hydrogen storage alloy that occurs due to repeated storage and discharge of hydrogen, and therefore a hydrogen storage cartridge (A) is provided in which deformation due to repeated use, and in particular irregular deformation, extremely unlikely, also it can effectively avoid hydrogen storage irregularities of the hydrogen storage alloy. The hydrogen storage cartridge (A) is used for storage of hydrogen contained in biomass thermal decomposition gas, wherein the material of the hydrogen storage cartridge (A) is pure titanium, and the hydrogen storage cartridge (A) includes in the interior space (1), as a hydrogen storage alloy, at least one hydrogen storage alloy selected from the group comprising lanthanum mischmetal/nickel, titanium/iron, calcium/nickel, and lanthanum/nickel.
