Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a metal-organic framework modified using a compound having a hydroxyl group (—OH), a catalyst for a hydrogenation reaction including the same, and a method of manufacturing the same. The catalyst according to the present disclosure has high activity to the hydrogenation reaction even at a low temperature of 30 to 40° C., thus making low-grade waste heat usable.

Abstract: Catalyst compositions and processes for making and using same. The catalyst composition can include catalyst particles. The catalyst particles can include 0.001 wt % to 6 wt % of Pt and up to 10 wt % of a promoter that can include Sn, Cu, Au, Ag, Ga, or a combination thereof, or a mixture thereof disposed on a support. The support can include at least 0.5 wt % of a Group 2 element. All weight percent values are based on the weight of the support. The catalyst particles can have a median particle size in a range from 10 μm to 500 pm. The catalyst particles can have an apparent loose bulk density in a range from 0.3 g/cm3 to 2 g/cm3, as measured according to ASTM D7481-18 modified with a 10, 25, or 50 mL graduated cylinder instead of a 100 or 250 mL graduated cylinder.

Abstract: A composite catalyst containing heteroatom-doped zeolite for preparing light olefin using direct conversion of syngas is formed by compounding component I and component II in a mechanical mixing mode. The active ingredient of component I is a metal oxide, and the component II is a heteroatom-doped zeolite. The zeolite topology is CHA or AEI, and the skeleton atoms include Al—P—O or Si—Al—P—O; the heteroatoms is at least one of divalent metal Mg, Ca, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Sr, Zr, Mo, Cd, Ba and Ce, trivalent metal Ti and Ga, and tetravalent metal Ge. A weight ratio of the active ingredient in the component I to the component II is 0.1-20. The reaction process has high light olefin selectivity; the sum selectivity of the light olefin including ethylene, propylene and butylene can reach 50-90%, while the selectivity of a methane side product is less than 7%.

Abstract: A glass fiber filter element for visible light photocatalysis and air purification and a method for preparing the same. The glass fiber filter element includes 4 to 7 wt % of nanoparticles including at least one selected from zinc oxide, graphene oxide, titanium oxide, and reduced graphene oxide, 2 to 7 wt % of silver nanowires, 3 to 12 wt % of an adhesive system, and 78 to 91 wt % of a glass fiber mat, based on the total weight of the glass fiber filter element. The glass fiber mat is made of at least two glass fibers with different diameters, and the diameters are in a range of 0.15 to 3.5 μm. The nanoparticles have a particle size from 1 to 200 nm, and the silver nanowires have a diameter of 15 to 50 nm.
