Abstract: A massager device includes a structure having a contact face and a handling face. A pair of notched rollers is on the contact face of the structure. The notched rollers freely rotates around intersecting axes. The notched rollers are attached to the structure by elastic suspensions. A gripping shape is on the handling face of the structure, opposite to the contact face. The gripping shape forms a cap wrapping the surface of the structure.

Abstract: A multi-frequency microwave acupuncture and moxibustion apparatus characterized in that its structure comprises a microwave oscillator A, a power amplifier A, circulator A, a power divider A, a microwave radiator A, a microwave oscillator B, a power amplifier B, a circulator B, a power divider B, a microwave radiator B, a controller, a display screen, and a power supply unit. Two types of operating frequencies are set: A at 433 MHz, B at 915 MHz, output waveform has continuous wave and four pulse modulation waves respectively at 1 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz and 100 MHz, which are offered to treat different symptoms. Clinical verification shows that the multi-frequency microwave acupuncture and moxibustion apparatus has pretty good curative effects on knee osteoarthritis.

Abstract: Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.

Abstract: The present invention provides a practical method for treating atopic dermatitis. By subjecting patients suffering from atopic dermatitis to filtered temperature controlled laminar air flow disease symptoms have been significantly reduced and even removed. The velocity of the laminar air flow is balanced such that body convections are braked without the generation of draught.

Abstract: A respiratory device of negative pressure type comprising a shell fastened to the user's chest and/or abdomen with minimal dead space, one or more vacuum and compressed air chambers attached to the shell; vacuum generating and compressed air generating sources connected to the vacuum and compressed air chambers respectively, one or more openings on the shell to allow exchange of the air enclosed between shell and user's body, with the vacuum and compressed air chambers; a valve shuttling between the vacuum and compressed air chambers. By having low dead space, pre-generated vacuum and compressed air close to the user, and the use of fast acting valves in some embodiments, the power requirement, weight, and size are reduced, making the device low cost and portable. In some embodiments, the vacuum and compressed air generating sources can be mounted on the shell itself, making the device ambulatory.

Abstract: To provide an apparatus for promoting ineffective sweating includes an air heating unit for heating air in a sweating room, a mist generator for generating mist, a blower for circulating air in the sweating room by supplying mist, and a control device. The sweating room is provided with a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor for measuring temperature and relative humidity respectively in the sweating room. The control device is provided with a dew-point temperature determination unit for determining a dew-point temperature td in the sweating room based on the temperature and the relative humidity and a temperature setting unit for setting a body temperature of a user, and controls the air heating unit and the mist generator so that the dew-point temperature td is kept higher than the body temperature. This configuration can promote comfortable ineffective sweating with the low physical burden on the user.
