Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing a modified aluminosilicate in which a hydroquinone is highly selectively manufactured by a reaction between a phenol and hydrogen peroxide under industrially advantageous conditions, wherein the manufacturing method includes: a second step for treating an aluminosilicate with an acid; a third step for performing primary calcination of the treatment product obtained in the second step; and a fourth step in which the primary calcined product obtained in the third step and liquid containing one or more elements selected from the group consisting of elements in Group 4 and Group 5 of the Periodic Table are brought into contact with each other, and drying and secondary calcination then performed.

Abstract: A method of forming TiO2—ZnO nanoparticles coated by a copper (II) complex includes forming a mononuclear copper complex by treating a ligand with Cu2+ ions; and immobilizing the mononuclear copper complex on TiO2—ZnO nanoparticles to obtain the TiO2—ZnO nanoparticle coated by the copper (II) complex. The TiO2—ZnO nanoparticles coated by a copper (II) complex thus produced have improved catalytic effectiveness and increased efficiency by reducing catalytic reaction time and temperature, particularly in methods of catalyzing oxidation of an alcohol or of catalyzing decarboxylative bromination of an acid.

Abstract: The present invention refers to processes for obtaining steam reforming catalysts containing nickel, cerium, lanthanum and copper oxides, free from potassium or alkali metals, preferably with the oxide layer being located externally with a thickness of less than 0.5 mm on the support particle, preferably the support being based on alumina, magnesium aluminate, hexaaluminates or mixtures thereof. The catalysts according to present invention show high activity, resistance to thermal deactivation and resistance to coke accumulation in the steam reforming reaction of hydrocarbons.

Abstract: 3D bundle-shaped multi-walled carbon nanotubes and preparation method, includes the following steps: uniformly mixing bi-component alloy catalyst and transition metal in an inert gas environment in order to obtain a three-component nano-intermetallic alloy catalyst; disposing the intermetallic catalyst on the substrate; allowing hydrogen to flow through the substrate, and heating the substrate to a first temperature, and using the hydrogen to undergo a reduction of the intermetallic catalyst at the first temperature; applying a protective gas and a carbon source gas, heating the substrate to a second temperature, undergoing a reaction at the second temperature to generate the 3D bundle-shaped multi-walled carbon nanotubes, and collecting the 3D bundle-shaped multi-walled carbon nanotubes after annealing; wherein the second temperature is greater than or equal to the first temperature; a working electrode includes conductive drain material, a conductive bonding gent and a plurality of 3D bundle-shaped multi-walled carbon nanotubes.

Abstract: A nanofibrous catalyst for in the electrolyzer and methods of making the catalyst. The catalysts are composed of highly porous transition metal carbonitrides, metal oxides or perovskites derived from the metal-organic frameworks and integrated into a 3D porous nano-network electrode architecture. The catalysts are low-cost, highly active toward OER, with excellent conductivity yet resistant to the oxidation under high potential operable under both acidic and alkaline environments.
