Abstract: A method and system for reforming CO2 rich natural gases is disclosed which comprises: a cold plasma unit configured to convert CO2 rich natural gases into a plasma state; and a gas reforming reactor configured to reform said CO2 rich gas mixture at said plasma state into a syngas. The catalytic reforming reactor is separate and different from the DBD cold plasma unit. Means for latent heat of condensation, endothermic/exothermic reactions, and convection currents is used to achieve energy efficiency.

Abstract: A novel titanate aqueous solution is provided that is capable of easily preparing titanate compounds composed of alkali metals or alkaline earth metals, wherein the titanate aqueous solution contains titanate ions and quaternary ammonium cations in water, and the titanate aqueous solution is characterized in that 30 g of the titanate aqueous solution (25° C.) adjusted to a concentration containing 9% by mass of titanium in terms of TiO2 is added with 30 mL of a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution (25° C.) having a concentration of 2.2% by mass while stirring to form a precipitate composed of Na2Ti3O7 hydrate, or has a transmittance at a wavelength of 360 nm being 50% or less.

Abstract: An integrated catalyst can be used in an olefin disproportionation reaction. The integrated catalyst contains a plurality of different integrated active phases. The relative positions among different active phases remain substantially unchanged during the olefin disproportionation reaction. The effective distance between respective bisecting planes of two adjacent different active phases is 0.5-5 mm, preferably 1-3 mm.

Abstract: Redox catalysts having surface medication, methods of making redox catalysts with surface modification, and uses of the surface modified redox catalysts are provided. In some aspects, the redox catalysts include a core oxygen carrier region such as CaMnO3, BaMnO3−δ, SrMnO3−δ, Mn2SiO4, Mn2MgO4−δ, La0.8Sr0.2O3−δ, La0.8Sr0.2FeO3−δ, Ca9Ti0.1Mn0.9O3−δ, Pr6O11−δ, manganese ore, or a combination thereof; and an outer shell having an average thickness of about 1-100 monolayers surrounding the outer surface of the core region. The outer shell can include, for example a salt selected such as Li2WO4, Na2WO4, K2WO4, SrWO4, Li2MoO4, Na2MoO4, K2MoO4, CsMoO4, Li2CO3, Na2CO3, K2CO3, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: A Ce—Zr composite oxide contains cerium and zirconium, wherein an uneven distribution ratio of cerium atoms is 1.80 or less. A method for producing a Ce—Zr composite oxide includes an acid treatment step of bringing at least one selected from the group consisting of sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and hydrochloric acid, in an amount of 4 to 28 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the raw material composite oxide, into contact with the surface of a raw material composite oxide containing cerium and zirconium, and a calcination step of calcining the treated composite oxide obtained in the acid treatment step at 400 to 1200° C. for 5 to 300 minutes.
