Abstract: A spraying nozzle, intended for spraying a product, defines a passage for the circulation of the product through the nozzle, wherein the passage opens through a wide connection orifice to the outside of the nozzle at an upstream end thereof, and through a narrow spraying orifice at a downstream end of the nozzle in order to spray the product; the passage has, between the connection orifice and the spraying orifice, at least one pre-atomization narrowing capable of atomizing the product, followed by a broadening downstream of the pre-atomization narrowing.

According to the invention, the air cooling device (1) comprises at least one nebulizing regulating member (19) to regulate the flow rate of the air flow (F1) laden with droplets of nebulized liquid passing along a nebulizing duct (9) and to be diffused through the air outlet (7) associated with this nebulizing duct (9).

Abstract: An atomizing spray device includes a housing having inlets that receive a first fluid and a slurry of ceramic particles and a second fluid. The inlets are fluidly coupled with outlets by an interior chamber that mixes the first fluid with the slurry to form a primary mixture of the first fluid and first atomized droplets of the slurry. A first outlet on a first side of the housing and a second outlet on the first side of the housing are shaped to change the primary mixture to form a secondary mixture of the first fluid and second atomized droplets of the slurry. The first outlet sprays the secondary mixture onto a first surface as a first layer of coating and the second outlet sprays the secondary mixture onto the first surface as a second layer of coating while the housing moves in a direction along the first surface.

Abstract: Nozzle assemblies (10) for spray guns are disclosed. The nozzle assemblies (10) generally include a fluid outlet (100) extending along a fluid axis (102), the fluid outlet (100) including a fluid aperture (104) and a fluid side wall (164) defining the fluid aperture (104), an atomizing aperture (108) adjacent the fluid side wall (164) and at least partially surrounding the fluid axis (102), an atomizing inlet (110) configured to receive a pressurized gas, and an adjustment member (150) located on the nozzle assembly (10) and movable to: (i) an atomizing position such that the atomizing inlet (110) is in communication with the atomizing aperture (108), and (ii) a non-atomizing position such that the atomizing inlet (110) is not in communication with the atomizing aperture (108). The foregoing nozzle assemblies (810) allow dispensing of fluid coating media in both spray and bead patterns with improved ease of cleaning, superior spray performance, and adaptability with existing spray gun platforms.

Abstract: A two-phase flow nozzle, having limited dimensions of main parts relating to size of atomized particle and having correction means to assure the height of a gap of a gas exit, wherein said gap is formed between a lower surface of a gas nozzle and an upper surface of a liquid nozzle is provided. The nozzle is composed with the first liquid passage, the liquid nozzle with a liquid splaying exit, a concave located at an end of the liquid nozzle where said liquid exit is located lower than said end of liquid nozzle, a gas nozzle having a gap to supply compressed gas for atomizing from the outer periphery of said liquid nozzle to the liquid injected from said liquid exit, and having a gas exit, wherein said gap is formed by sticking the minute spherical extrusion composed integrally on said liquid nozzle with a lower surface of said gas nozzle. Further, the contact of said minute spherical extrusion with said upper surface of gas nozzle is automatically corrected by supporting a convex spherical supported surface, which is provided at an intermediate portion of said liquid nozzle, with a concave spherical supporting surface, which is provided at an upper inner peripheral edge of a liquid nozzle holder.

Abstract: A spray nozzle assembly having a nozzle body and a downstream air cap. The air cap has a central opening through which liquid is directed and a plurality of circumferentially spaced air passages oriented at a compound angle to the central flow axis of the air cap opening for directing pressurized air flow streams that interact with discharging liquid for atomizing the liquid while imparting a tangential direction to the atomized liquid for enhanced atomization and a swirling movement into a full cone spray pattern. The air cap may have an integrally formed spray tip or a separate spray tip may be associated with the nozzle body. The air cap may be formed with a downstream conical recess into which liquid and air streams are directed, or alternatively, be designed for atomizing liquid internally within the air cap.
