Abstract: An embodiment of a system for treating sleep apnea includes a collar, pump, motor, sensor, memory, and controller, which is configured to store, in the memory, information related to sleep-apnea events or sleep-apnea treatment, experienced by the subject. For example, the controller can obtain, and store in the memory, information related to sleep-apnea events, and the controller, or another computing system, can correlate this information with the subject's lifestyle choices, and can recommend lifestyle changes to improve the subject's sleep apnea. Furthermore, the controller can obtain and store, in the memory, information related to usage and settings of the sleep-apnea system, and the controller, or another computing system, can correlate this information with the subject's wellbeing, and can recommend changes in the usage or the settings of the sleep-apnea system that can improve the subject's wellbeing.

Abstract: A apparatus includes an a exoskeleton system with a plurality of sensors for generating signals indicating a current motion and a current arrangement of at least the exoskeleton system, a hip segment, and at least one lower limb. The lower limb includes thigh and shank segments for coupling to a lateral surface of a user's leg. The thigh segment includes a first powered joint coupling the thigh segment to the hip segment, a second powered joint coupling the thigh segment to the shank segment, and a controller coupled to the sensors, the first powered joint, and the second powered joint. The controller is configured for determining a current state of the exoskeleton system and a current intent of the user based on the signals and generating control signals for the first and second powered joints based on the current state and the current intent.

Abstract: A user inputs information into a respiratory therapy device during an initial therapy session such as a total number of therapy cycles to be performed during the therapy session and other therapy parameters for each of the therapy cycles, such as target pressure(s) and frequency setting(s). Thus, some of the parameters are adjusted in real-time by the user during the therapy session. The respiratory therapy device is configured to save the therapy parameters of the therapy session as a preset of the respiratory therapy device. The preset is capable of being used to initiate the administration of the therapy session at a future point in time based on the saved therapy cycles and therapy parameters.

Abstract: A sauna cabin enclosure comprised of two half cabins, one half being smaller than the other, such that one half can fit inside the other and can slide to contract or expand partially or fully, thereby increasing or decreasing the air volume inside and the overall external size. This cabin has infrared heating, full spectrum lighting and a steam generator. When the cabin size is reduced by means of a hand crank or a motor, the air volume inside the cabin is decreased, allowing air temperature to increase proportionally. The cabin can be compressed together to minimize required floor space.

Abstract: A tub comprising a body for holding a volume of water. A tub system is coupled to the body to perform a function on the volume of water. At least a first circuit has a first circuit portion comprising at least one resistive switch mounted to a visible surface of the body and comprising at least a first resistive element adapted to be contacted by a bather, second circuit portion comprising a water detection sensor mounted to the body for containing liquid in the body above a given level, the first circuit being open between the first resistive element and the water detection sensor, an actuating closed circuit condition by which a bather in liquid above the given level closes the first circuit between the first circuit portion and the second circuit portion when touching the first resistive element. A controller is operationally coupled to first circuit portion and the second circuit portion of the first circuit, and to the tub system, the controller adapted to detect the actuating closed circuit condition to trigger an action of the tub system.
