Abstract: A percussion paddle device for use in chest physical therapy-comprising a handle and cup positioned at one terminal end of the handle. The cup is made of a pliable plastic and has a cushion positioned long its exterior rim. In use, the percussion paddle is swung at a patient such that the cushion is flush with the patient creating seal. The resulting build up of pressure mimics the force of a cupped hand.

Abstract: A rejuvenation and massage device is provided for treating mucosa tissue, such as vaginal tissue, affected by Vaginal Relaxation Syndrome (VRS) or other conditions, through vibration, thermal loading, and light emittance for a duration of time. In one embodiment, the device is an insertable device that includes Low-Level Laser Light (LLLT) therapy to treat the vaginal tissue. The light emittance by one or more light emitters is in a range sufficient to provide therapeutic effects through light radiation. To enhance the therapeutic effects of light radiation provided by the device, the device is configured to provide increased energy density into target tissue of vaginal muscles though a light configuration component (e.g., a focusing component, such as a concave lens assembly, a convex assembly, a pre-lensed light emitter or other focusing optical mechanism) associated with the light emitter that concentrates the light emitted from the light emitter.

Abstract: The invention relates to a stimulation device comprising a main part and a rubber-elastic sleeve which is intended for contact with a body part of a user and which encloses the main part and has a reversibly deformable contact surface region, wherein a shaping element, which is designed to produce a locally limited deformation of the sleeve without deformation of the main part, is arranged on the main part so as to be movable relative to the main part, and an actuating device, which is operatively connected to the shaping element in order to generate a movement of the shaping element, is arranged on the main part and comprises an electric motor having a rotor shaft to which an eccentric is fastened, and the shaping element comprises a pivotally mounted lever having two free ends, wherein a first end of the lever is operatively connected to the eccentric of the actuating device in order to convert a rotation of the rotor shaft into a pivoting movement of the lever, and a second end of the lever acts in a deforming manner on the contact surface region.

Abstract: A lighting device obtains data related to objects and boundaries in an area in the vicinity of the lighting device, and a user wearable device provides a display (e.g. an augmented reality display based on the data related to the objects and the area boundaries) for a user/wearer. The lighting device includes a mapping sensor that collects data related to the objects and boundaries in the area. The user wearable device includes a camera or other optical sensor and wireless communication capability. The user wearable device is provided with mapping data that is presented on a display of the user wearable device. The communications and display capabilities allow the user wearable device to obtain room mapping information related to area in the vicinity of the lighting device in order to provide navigational assistance to a visually impaired person in the area.
