    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for media processing. In some examples, an apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry can exchange, with a server device, a plurality of control messages over a control plane channel that uses a first transport protocol. The plurality of control messages belongs to a control plane of a bidirectional protocol for immersive media distribution. The processing circuitry receives, from the server device, a first plurality of data messages over a first data plane channel that uses a second transport protocol. The first plurality of data messages belongs to a data plane of the bidirectional protocol and carries immersive media content. The processing circuitry presents the immersive media content carried by the first plurality of data messages.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method, an apparatus, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for video decoding. The apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to receive a first supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message including scalability dimension information (SDI). The first SEI message includes SDI of a plurality of views in a multiview bitstream including a coded video sequence (CVS) with a plurality of layers. The processing circuitry determines a value of a first syntax element sdi_view_id_val[] in the first SEI message. The first syntax element sdi_view_id_val[ ] indicates a view identifier (ViewId) of a layer in the plurality of layers. The processing circuitry determines, based on the first syntax element sdi_view_id_val[ ], a target layer of the plurality of layers to which a second syntax element of a second SEI message applies. The first syntax element sdi_view_id_val[] indicates a view of the plurality of views associated with the second syntax element.

    Abstract: A method of a service enabler architecture layer (SEAL) can include receiving a monitoring event subscription request for network connection status information at a network resource management server in the SEAL from a vertical application layer (VAL) server. The monitoring event subscription request can indicate a target VAL user equipment (UE), a type of the network connection status information, and a timeout period indicating an amount of time lapsed after the monitoring event subscription request was transmitted. The requested network connection status information is not transmitted after the timeout period. The network connection status information of the target VAL UE can be obtained from a wireless network system. A network connection status information response message can be transmitted from the network resource management server in the SEAL to the VAL server. The network connection status information response message can include the network connection status information of the target VAL UE.

    Abstract: A method of a service enabler architecture layer (SEAL) can include receiving a location reporting configuration at a first user equipment (UE) from a location management server of the SEAL. The location reporting configuration can indicate at least one location reporting event for triggering a first location information report from a first location management client at the first UE to the location management server. The first location information report can be transmitted to the location management server from the first location management client at the first UE in response to the at least one location reporting event occurring. The first location information report can include an identity of the first UE, an identity of the at least one location reporting event that triggers the first location information report, first location information of the first UE, and a first timestamp corresponding to the first location information of the first UE.

    Abstract: Systems and method may provide unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) connection monitoring and location reporting. A method implemented by at least one processor includes receiving, by an unmanned aerial system application enabler (UAE) server, a location report indicating a location of the UAV from a location management (LM) server; receiving, by the UAE server, a lost connection report indicating a loss of connection with the UAV; receiving, by the UAE server, a connection resumption report from a network resource management (NRM) server indicating that the connection with the UAV has been re-established; and based on receiving the connection resumption report, transmitting, from the UAE server, a location update request to the LM server.
