Abstract:
Disclosed is a very low frequency wave heating massager for shoulders including: a cover part of a “C” shape that is bent to conform to the structure of the human body at the portion against which his or her neck and shoulder abut to thereby surround the whole of the shoulder; a plurality of heat generators to generate heat; a shield material adapted to be connected between the adjacent heat generators for shielding the electromagnetic waves therefrom; a vibrating massage part in which one of a vibrating motor and a solenoid are mounted; a very low frequency wave generator; and a controller connected to the cover part.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for vertebrae realignment through muscle relaxation and spinal manipulation, using a pillow-shaped body portion having an adjustable manipulation device for exerting pressure on the spine, heating device for providing heat, and a vibration device for providing vibration, all cooperating to manipulate the user's spine into proper alignment.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a system and apparatus for delivering a hydro-massage operation using a water jet that moves over a user in both a longitudinal direction (lengthwise) and a traverse direction (widthwise). A robotic arm maneuvers a water jet over a user's body to spray water at various locations according to user inputs such as voice commands or a prerecorded program. The program can be tailored to specific preferences of the individual user, using body measurements and pre-selected preferential locations for water delivery. The program is carried out by a microprocessor in the apparatus to control the movement of the robotic arm.
Abstract:
The invention, a massage therapy device, comprises of certain amount of evenly mixed hard particles and elastic particles and a therapy device majority equipping a container to contain the evenly mixed hard particles and elastic particles and superficial air inlets and outlets. By controlling the amount of evenly mixed hard particles and elastic particles inside the therapy device majority, the interior of the entire therapy device majority is under certain degree of saturation or swelling. One may arbitrarily squeeze, clutch, push, pat, and rub the palm, finger, toe, face and various portions on the entire body under the timing control of optimal time retard, space retard, active force and reaction force. The device may arbitrarily strengthen joint massage, finger activation, reflection massage for brain tissue and other organs to further vitalize the skin and to achieve optimal massage and therapy effects in avoiding blood blockage for the entire body. Especially, a user can not only ideally utilize the device for manual massage by imitating traditional optimal massage, but also achieve optimal massage and therapy effects.
Abstract:
A method of treating sleep apnea by the novel application of pressure varying from ambient pressure to external portions of a patient's neck, and a novel breathing mask seal apparatus.
Abstract:
An apparatus for mechanical stimulating of the heart comprising a girdle provided to be stretched over the chest of a human body and carrying power means arranged to mechanically treat said chest in a rhythmical sequence thereby stimulating the heart whereby according to the invention the bloodstream from the heart is directed towards the brain by means of a further girdle provided to be stretched over the body in the level of the abdomen and provided with means arranged to be extended and to exert a thrust against the abdomen intended to cause a compression of aorta abdominalis.
Abstract:
The present disclosure discloses an ergonomically adaptive adjustment hot compress nursing instrument. A storage battery is used to supply electric energy to a heater, so that the heater can generate heat for long time. Real-time constant temperature monitoring and regulation are achieved by combining a temperature sensor and a constant temperature control circuit, which ensures a constant temperature state in a use process, thereby improving a hot compress physiotherapy effect.
Abstract:
A treatment apparatus for providing spinal compensation therapy may include a base structure configured to support a patient lying in a supine position on the treatment apparatus, and an incrementally configurable adjustment assembly configured to modify the base structure between an initial configuration, an intermediate configuration, and a target configuration. The initial configuration may define spinal curves generated based on initial patient parameters associated with evaluation of the patient to define a first increment in progress toward the target configuration, and the intermediate configuration may define modified spinal curves relative to the initial configuration to define a second increment in the progress toward the target configuration.
Abstract:
A method of administering a massage comprising providing a base member with a flexible member coupled to opposite sides of the base member. The base member is rested on top of a support surface so that connection points where the flexible member attaches to the base member are vertically disposed above the support surface. A patient is positioned on the base member and the support surface so that the patient is laying between the opposite sides of the base member. Force is delivered to the patient laying on the base member using a foot of a massage practitioner. The massage practitioner utilizes the flexible member to assist with balance of the massage practitioner while the force is delivered to the patient.
