Abstract:
A multi-function reusable sticker teaching tool, comprising a pad body, a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and a second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The pad body has a front surface and a back surface. The first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is disposed on the back surface of the pad body for attachment to a wall. The second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is disposed on the front surface of the pad body in a specific pattern for attachment to a sheet material. The first and second pressure-sensitive adhesive layers both have reusable sticking and water-proof properties, and the surface area of the second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is smaller than that of the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. Therefore, the front and back surfaces can be adhered repeatedly and multiple fixing functions can be integrated. Furthermore, it's suitable as a teaching aid with the advantages of a simplified structure, small volume, and is easily moved to change the position of the tool and replace teaching content.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a bilayer pressure-sensitive adhesive. Provision is made for the bilayer pressure-sensitive adhesive to comprise an apolar layer and a polar layer, the apolar layer and the polar layer each comprising a polyacrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive having a static glass transition temperature of not more than +15° C., and the surface energy of the apolar layer differing from the surface energy of the polar layer by at least 5 mN/m.
Abstract:
Provided is a viscoelastic article which exerts different properties between one surface and the other surface thereof, which has a transparent appearance, and which less causes staining of objects to which the viscoelastic article is adopted. The viscoelastic article is an article having a multilayer structure including a polymer layer, and a monomer-absorptive layer capable of absorbing at least one of monomer component(s) constituting the polymer, in which the polymer layer is a polymer layer containing an elastomer unevenly distributed and enriched at an interface, or in the vicinity thereof, opposite to the monomer-absorptive layer. The vicinity of the interface opposite to the monomer-absorptive layer is preferably a region ranging from the interface opposite to the other interface with the monomer-absorptive layer and occupying, in a thickness direction, 50% or less of the total thickness.
Abstract:
The installation system and method for installing an architectural covering material to a substrate surface utilizes an adhesive mat having layers of adhesive and release layers arranged to allow the covering material to be initially positioned, and later repositioned to be permanently set. The adhesive mat includes a planar carrier member, one or more adhesive layers on at least one planar side of the planar carrier member, and at least one release layer of material removably covering the one or more adhesive layers. In one form, the adhesive mat includes a carrier sheet, first and second adhesive layers on opposing planar sides of the carrier sheet, and first and second release layers of material removably covering the two adhesive layers.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a thermal-release double-coated pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet which includes a substrate, a foaming agent-free pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (A) arranged on one side of the substrate, and a foaming agent-containing pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (B) arranged on the other side. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (A) contains 5 to 30 parts by weight of a plasticizer and 100 parts by weight of a base polymer and has a tensile adhesive strength of 1 N/20 mm in width or less with respect to a poly(ethylene terephthalate) film as determined at a peel angle of 180 degrees, a rate of pulling of 300 mm/minute, a temperature of 23±2° C., and a relative humidity of 65±5%. The weight loss of plasticizer is 2 percent by weight or less when the tape or sheet is heated at a temperature of 165° C. and a pressure of one atmosphere for one hour.
Abstract:
To provide a hardenable pressure-sensitive adhesive film which is excellent in cuttability and permits excellent shearing such as punching or perforating without adhesive spew.[Means for Solving Problems] A hardenable pressure-sensitive adhesive film (1), characterized by being produced by laminating an isotropic support sheet (11) made of a resin which exhibits lengthwise and widthwise shear strengths of 2 to 2000 g [200 mm/min 25 mm width], preferably 5 to 1000 g, still preferably 10 to 500 g in the thickness range of 2 to 60 [mu]m with a face sheet (12) made of a resin-base pressure-sensitive adhesive. In the film (1), the face sheet(s) (12) may be present on either or both sides of the support sheet (11).
Abstract:
Adhesive systems may be fabricated to include first and second solid adhesion structures. The first adhesion structure may require an applied normal preload force to achieve adhesion to a surface. The second solid adhesion structure may be separate from but joined to the first adhesion structure such that both adhesion structures are jointly adherable to the surface upon application of the normal preload force.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an electroconductive adhesive tape having different adhesion values on both surfaces thereof. A method for producing the same is also disclosed. The adhesive tape has different adhesion values on both surfaces thereof, elasticity, and electroconductivity along the longitudinal direction as well as the transverse direction. Thus, the adhesive tape can be used in electronic components, as an electromagnetic wave-shielding tape that permits easy attachment/detachment.
