    Abstract: There are provided a multilayer light-blocking film and the like whose front and back surfaces are easy to discriminate while they have light-blocking layers having high optical density whose front and back are usually difficult to discriminate. A multilayer light-blocking film 100 has a multilayer structure comprising at least a substrate film 11, a light-blocking layer 21 provided on one major surface 11a side of this substrate film 11, and a light-blocking layer 31 provided on the other major surface 11b side, the light-blocking layer 21 and the light-blocking layer 31 have an optical density of 2.5 or more in total, and for the light-blocking layer 21 and the light-blocking layer 31, the color difference ΔE*ab is different by 0.2 or more in the CIE 1976 L*a*b* color system. The substrate film 11 and the light-blocking layer 21 and/or the light-blocking layer 31 preferably have inclined end surfaces 12, 22, and/or 32 so that a film width increases from the light-blocking layer 21 toward the light-blocking layer 31.

    Abstract: A low reflective film includes a first resin layer. The first resin layer includes a binder resin and an organic resin particle having an average particle size D50 of 2 to 20 μm. A surface of the first resin layer has a reflectance and gloss values satisfying the following relationships: (1) regular reflectance at 70 degrees: 0.0% or more and 2.5% or less (wavelength 550 nm); (2) specular gloss value at 60 degrees: 0.0% or more and 6.0% or less; specular gloss value at 75 degrees: 0.0% or more and 6.0% or less; specular gloss value at 85 degrees: 0.0% or more and 6.0% or less; and (3) a sum of a specular gloss value at 20°, a specular gloss value at 45°, the specular gloss value at 60°, the specular gloss value at 75°, and the specular gloss value at 85° is 7.5% or less.

    Abstract: Provided is a method for producing a light-blocking material for optical devices which is provided with a light-blocking coat achieving low gloss while maintaining the necessary physical properties of a light-blocking coat, i.e. a light-blocking property, even when the light-blocking coat is formed extremely thinly. In the method for producing the light-blocking material for optical devices which is provided with the light-blocking coat, a coating liquid including at least a binder resin, black microparticles, and a dye is prepared. A dye including a metal such as chrome oxide, iron oxide, or cobalt oxide is preferably used as the dye. The coating liquid is subsequently applied to a base material, and dried to form the light-blocking coat.
