A reference signal generator generates a variable reference signal with which a signal indicating the momentary rotational speed of the prime mover (such as a gas turbine) for a generator is compared, to produce a rotational speed control signal in accordance with a signal representing the load applied to the prime mover, so as to compensate for the rotational speed fluctuation caused by load connection by holding the rotational speed of the prime mover above the desired level during no-load operation and at the desired level under load.

The present invention provides a coating device comprising: a coating gun (4) which is provided with a coating discharge port (42) and an atomization gas discharge port (44) formed near the coating discharge port (42), and which can eject compressed gas from the atomization gas discharge port (44); and a coating cartridge (1) provided with a container (20) and a coating ejection nozzle (23) extending from the bottom of the container (20); wherein the coating cartridge (1) is removably mounted into the coating gun (4) so that the tip of the coating ejection nozzle (23) is approximately aligned with the coating discharge port (42). The coating device obviates washing process when the coating cartridges are exchanged.

In a coating film formation method in which the thermosetting water-borne color paint (A) is coated on the surface of the substrate, then a thermosetting water-borne paint containing color pigment and/or glittering pigment (B) is coated on said coated surface, and, after predrying as necessary, a thermosetting clear paint (C) is coated and after that said 3-layer coating films of (A), (B) and (C) are simultaneously cured by heating, the solid content of the wet coat is controlled by an air jet step in which the air, whose temperature and/or humidity are controlled, is jetted from behind the paint nozzle in approximately the same direction as the atomized particles of said thermosetting water color paint (A) move to the surface of the substrate, when said paint is coated, around the spray pattern so that the air touches said pattern.

The present invention provides a method for forming coated films and equipment for forming coating films which can effectively form coated films having substantially the same qualities as those formed under coating conditions in an actual coating operation, and a method for effectively reproduce color-toning coating materials having a desired color-toning.The method for forming a coated film, which aims to reproduce finished qualities of a coated film to be obtained in an actual coating operation by spraying a coating material onto an object to be coated, includes: an air conditioning step of controlling the temperature and humidity in a coating booth (22) in accordance with the spraybooth conditions in the actual coating operation; and a coating step of forming a coated film on an object to be coated in the coating booth (22) using an atomizer (30) for spraying a coating material; the coating step comprising: a coating condition determination step of controlling particle diameter, concentration and velocity of the atomized particles in a spray pattern of a coating material sprayed from the coating material atomizer (30) in accordance with those in the actual coating operation; and a coated film formation step of controlling the relative movement of the coating material atomizer (30) and the object to be coated (50) based on a coated film formation profile determined by the relation between changes in the coated film formation time in the actual coating operation and the resulting coated film thickness.
