Abstract: An axial/radial—or radial/flow catalytic reactor has inlet and outlet ports and a bed of particulate catalyst disposed as e.g. a cylinder or cone round a central region communicating with one of the ports. For at least part of the height of the catalyst bed, the exterior surface of the catalyst bed has a diameter less than that of the reactor thus leaving space between the exterior surface of the catalyst bed and the interior walls of the reactor. This space is filled with a particulate material presenting less resistance to flow than the catalyst particles.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a catalytic reactor for cracking wax of pyrolysis oil generated from waste plastic pyrolysis emulsification process, a catalytic composition and a production method thereof. Particularly, the present disclosure relates to a catalytic composition for cracking wax, including: a support that includes zeolite containing silicon oxide and aluminum oxide, and silica; and an active metal that includes iron and zinc, and is immersed in the support, thereby cracking carbides with C14 or more included in wax of pyrolysis oil generated during waste plastic emulsification process.

Abstract: A space and energy saving adsorber unit comprising two adsorber beds arranged in a common housing. The upper adsorber bed, disposed essentially vertically, is contained by gas permeable vertical walls, thereby permitting gas to be treated in the horizontal direction. The second adsorber bed, located beneath the first bed, slopes downwardly from an upper apex with increasing distance from a vertical central axis and is also enclosed, at least in part, by gas permeable walls. During regeneration of the system where water might be condensed in the bed, the condensate flows out of the bed without damaging the adsorbent.

Abstract: A large circulating fluidized bed cell bioreactor and a method for culturing animal cells. The reactor comprises an agitator tank body (01), an agitator tank base (50), a water inlet silicone hose (06), a backflow silicone hose (08), a cell culture tank (10), a culture tank base (40), a backflow pipe (15), a water inlet pipe (12), an agitator (20), a reactor tray (30), and a tube support plate (60). By means of cooperation among the above components, defects and shortcomings of fluidized bed cell bioreactors in the prior art including proneness to microbial contamination, a low level of dissolved oxygen, and a low working volume, are effectively resolved, advantageous in the popularization and application of this technology.

Abstract: Shift conversion of hydrogen-rich reformed gas produced by reaction including partial oxidation of feed gas in a reforming reaction section (6) is made by its water gas shift reaction with shift conversion catalyst in a shift reaction section (10) in order to reduce CO contained in the reformed gas and enhance the yield of hydrogen. In this case, for the purpose of enabling high-temperature reformed gas from the reforming reaction section (6) to undergo the shift conversion as it is and thereby simplifying the construction of a shift conversion unit, the reformed gas from the reforming reaction section (6) is introduced directly into a reformed gas passage (11) of the shift reaction section (10) and thereby undergoes the shift reaction while heat-exchanging with the feed gas.
