Abstract:
In one example, a liquid mixture nozzle for flowing a liquid mixture therethrough includes a body having a flow inlet and a flow outlet. The flow inlet is configured to couple to a first piece of piping and the flow outlet is configured to couple to a second piece of piping. The liquid mixture nozzle also includes a converging section having a decreasing diameter positioned adjacent the flow inlet, an orifice positioned at a narrow end of the converging section, an intermediate section having a constant diameter positioned adjacent the orifice, a diverging section having an increasing diameter positioned adjacent the intermediate section and the flow outlet.
Abstract:
A discrete dispensed product comprising a first portion; and a second portion at least partially surrounding the first portion provides a premium and distinct appearance to consumers.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for producing aerosol. The apparatus comprising a first atomizer for producing a first aerosol jet and a second atomizer for producing a second aerosol jet, each atomizer comprising an atomizing head in which the liquid is atomized into an atomized aerosol jet. Said atomizers further comprise a focusing part arranged to restrain the atomized aerosol jet for providing a punctual aerosol jet, said focusing part extending directly from the atomizing head. The first and second atomizer form an atomizer pair such that the atomizers are aligned towards each other for colliding the aerosol jets to each other.
Abstract:
A two part airless adhesive spray system is provided herein. This system provides numerous enhancements to the prior art including limiting overspray “fog,” saving on sprayed material because of a more efficient spray pattern, and providing a stronger bond than that of the air-atomized spray guns of the prior art.
Abstract:
A device configured to dispense material at two locations on an electronic device separated by a distance may comprise a controller and first and second material dispensing units comprising, respectively, a first body portion terminated by a first needle portion that defines a first longitudinal axis and a second body portion terminated by a second needle portion that defines a second longitudinal axis. The first and second needle portions may be configured to dispense material onto the electronic device. A positioning assembly may be configured to position the first and second material dispensing units, under control of the controller, such that the first and second longitudinal axes intersect (or appear to intersect from one or more points of view) and such that the material dispensing free ends of the first and second needle portions are spaced away from one another by the distance separating the two predetermined locations.
Abstract:
A coating comprises a resin solution including a solution of neoprene latex and liquid asphalt emulsion and an accelerator solution including an aqueous solution of zinc sulfate powder and water. A spray system for applying the coating includes a spray gun having first and second nozzles, a first pump fluidly connected between the first nozzle and a resin solution reservoir for delivering the resin solution to the first nozzle at a first fluid pressure, and a second pump fluidly connected between the second nozzle and an accelerator solution reservoir for delivering the accelerator solution to the second nozzle at a second fluid pressure different from the first pressure. The accelerator solution may be aerated by a source of compressed air prior to discharge from the second nozzle.
Abstract:
A graphical application system, with a surface spattering device, with at least one nozzle for expelling a spattering material onto a target surface, a nozzle control mechanism controls expelling of the nozzle. A spatial referencing unit references the spattering device in space and a computation means automatically controls the nozzle according to information from the spatial referencing unit and according to predefined desired spattering data as a digital image or a CAD-model of a desired pattern to be spattered onto the target surface. A communication means for establishing a communication link from the spatial referencing unit to the computation means to supply the position and orientation to the computation means. The spatial referencing unit is located remote from the spattering device and comprises at least two optical 2D cameras arranged with a stereobasis, for determining the position and orientation of images taken by the cameras.
Abstract:
This invention is directed to a method for producing a coating layer of a coating composition by introducing a catalyst as a second component into an atomized stream of a first component of the coating composition. This invention is also directed to a spray gun for producing such coating layer.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a delivery device and a system for introducing the catalyst into the atomized coating composition. This invention is also directed to a system for producing a mixed composition comprising two or more components.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for fluid handling devices with enhanced functionality. In some embodiments, the fluid handling device may include a plurality of filters coupled to the fluid handling device, where passing a first stream of fluid through the plurality of filters may improve the laminarity of the first stream of fluid, an orifice situated about the fluid handling device, where the first stream of fluid may exit the fluid handling device through the orifice in a substantially laminar state, and a surface disruptor coupled to the fluid handling device, where the surface disruptor may provide a second stream of fluid and where the disruptor may be positioned such that the second stream of fluid interferes with the first stream of fluid exiting the fluid handling device.
